It has been a while since I have posted on the Premature Ejaculation Forum. I recently finished JP90 and have been doing the AP90 (Anti-Porn).

I have always heard how lots of people (including myself) get performance anxiety issues from porn that causes ED. It has been obvious to me that porn is the culprit behind Pre-E also. But I seemed to make a new connection between Porn, ED, and Pre-E.

Porn causes social anxiety and performance anxiety issues. (either one or both). After a new record of quitting porn for about 25 days my erection and arousal has dramatically changed! I used to not be aroused often but when I did I would get over-aroused. Now I get aroused much more often now, BUT never get over-aroused. It flip-flopped on me. Also, with PE my erection quality has gone up and from quitting porn my mind and feeling completely commands my erection for edging.

Anxiety, causes over-arousasl and by quitting porn my anxiety is lessening. No porn= No anxiety= confidence, no Pre-E and ED.

I haven't had sex yet since all of this, but I feel so much more confident socially.
To fix Pre-E you have to be confident and I was never truly confident until now.
I am sure that this is the answer. (along with other stamina improving exercises.
If quitting porn completely worked like I think it will, I will never, ever, recommend any kind of porn again.

So if you haven't quit porn do it now, completely! It is an all-around self-promoting experience!

Thanks for posting this. About a month ago i started with watching only porn without guys and i think it has helped a bit but everything you say here makes sense. I have recently found myself fantasizing about other women while having sex with my gf and this bothers me a lot. It causes ED and when it doesnt the sex is less than good. So again thank you for posting this.

Your welcome! Dude ED was a big problem for me. Especially when trying to put on a condom.

It's definitely a huge cause, which is why a lot of anti anxiety medication can help. I'm not saying you should go take some, what I'm saying is it works for 'that' reason. When you take that away it can reduce a lot of stress. It's quite interesting jsut how powerful the mind can be.

Oh man don't even get me started! If I ever stopped getting into it with a girl for even 10 seconds to put the condom on I'd lost my erection! I needed constant stimulus to maintain one! I'd also like to note that I've been much more confident the last couple weeks without porn. I'm not sure if it's because of the no porn or the conscious decision I made to be more social, probably a combination of the two but either way my confidence has skyrocketed!

You know what's funny you guys? I feel like EVERYONE doing the AP90 is making leaps and bounds with fixing there sexual problems. Am I right?!

Hopefuldude... You are right, I didn't think of that! All of the SSRIs and pills reduce anxiety, which is one reason why premature ejaculation sufferers get the temporary benefit from it! Stopping porn is just a NATURAL SSRI in a sense.

I bet there is NOBODY on these threads that can tell me that he has premature ejaculation and has NEVER had an issue with watching/ masturbating to porn. It is something almost ALL ED and Pre-E sufferers share. (I am not familiar with delayed ejaculation but I think it may be the same for this too.)

Yeah it is interesting! The facts about pair-bonding relationships are disheartening. It is hard to believe that the more you orgasm with a partner that less you get sexually excited about that partner overtime... Karezza seems to be the alternative: Sex with rarely having an orgasm. I have ALWAYS been interested in psychology but I am wondering if ALL of the information on this site is accurate. Regardless it is making me rethink porn, masturbating, and orgasm.

Its a fantastic article. Reps. It also seems to suggest that the opposite is true for women. The more they orgasm with their partner, the more attached they become to that partner, and shun other men. I love common sense reflecting psychology.

Psychology is amazing CaptainJohnson!
I don't recollect the article saying that it was opposite for women actually. Your probably right though, it is strange.
So the more orgasms you give your wife, the better eh?

to reply to your original comment Drummer, your progress with no porn makes me hopeful. it motivated me to do it too, started yesterday. my habit with porn was not what u would call excessive or addictive though. like once or twice a week with edging since i started PE 5 months ago. i do have trouble with stamina tho. you think ill see results from AP90?

I do think anyone will benefit with no porn. However, the stronger attachment you have to porn the more beneficial it will be. Just try and see if you body lets you quit porn completely, if you get slightly depressed or start feeling bad after a few weeks of no porn then it will help you.

If you watch porn just for fun (with no sideffects, which some people claim to have), then quitting porn will do nothing, maybe. I can't prove this idea sense I am not made like this.

I seem to have no side effects from porn, but then my interest in it is far more limited than what you guys describe. Have not noticed any difference when I have gone long periods without porn. Did have a period where the ex and I would watch x rated movies between bouts of sex. The effect of that was more sex.

I'm the same. It's not an addiction, an overarousal barrier or a masturbation trinket for me either. A little watch here and there, and it'll get me hard. But giving it up has not proved to help me with anything in the past. I can appreciate it does for some.

I don't know, I had quit porn for about 1 month, and my EQ/horniness levels hardly changed...

I don't have performance anxiety. For me, it's hard for me to get it up when I'm alone, like just trying to do an edging session.
