I have been noticing that when I try to go 'back a page' to the previous page, the browser (chrome) stays on the same page.
Also noticed when I try to pull up the extra smilies/icons, that extra window is empty.

I'm still having a lot of problems as well.

Nearly every post that I've made today has been a double-post (it posts each reply twice). Most of the moderator tools don't work either; for example, I can't use the mod tools to delete the double posts when they happen. When I just tried to delete one of the double posts that just happened, the browser goes to a blank screen with the URL:
Code:
https://www.pegym.com/forums/inlinemod.php?threadid=64100&p=

Yea im trying to figure it out.

Observation; duplicate posts. Noted in the use of the Banned Spammers Log.
And seen in the generation/editing of this post.

QR.jpg

If the Default setting for Editor in Settings is WYSIWYG.
A new post authored will produce the post, however the Quick Response window after Saving is incomplete, and the page must be refreshed.

If at any time the Leftmost "Switch Editor to Source Mode" is moused, then upon the Save action, duplicate posts will be produced. The Quick Response window will be displayed correctly.

In editing this post, clicking Save action begins, however, never seems to complete unless I refresh the webpage.

I switched to using Chrome and I was able to post a few pics. I thought that was the problem all along and then even Chrome started doing the same thing. It tries to post duplicates of the same pics and then those won't post.

It will show all duplicates with the same image number and show the size as 157 bytes.
Even when posting single pics, if it doesn't load it comes up with 157 bytes regardless of the original size.

Even when posting single pics, if it doesn't load it will always show the size as 157 bytes. Hope that helps.
I tried to edit my last post but it would just clock forever. That's another problem I've noticed. Forget trying to edit a post.

I have been able to find a "work around" until the site issues are fixed. The work around pertains to using smilies and images.

1) Open smilie window, then drag and drop the desired smilie into your post. This has worked for me every time.

2) Images: Reduce images to 18kb and smaller. By reducing the quality to 30% of your jpegs and reducing the size to 600 x 400 this should do it. It looks rough, but works.

3) When editing a post and the hour glass keeps spinning and spinning, click your refresh browser NOT back button, but refresh. This has worked for me every time.

Good luck!

Avatar changing is ka-poot.

It will only accept a reduced size file. Haven't we been through this before ?

An inch and 1/2 deeper than before
I don't know if this helps, but following Frog's recommended work around for pictures, I explored the "Manage Attachments" window. It seems there is a limit on size for uploads, and if reduced by quality and size to below the limit, it uploads fine. I don't know if this has changed, but seems to be related to the picture problem.

Thanks for all the hard work control!

I have traced the issue to a server configuration. Now I just need to find which one. Thanks for your pertinence.

What version of PHP is the server running?
I've read of problems with capability between vBulletin 4.2 and PHP versions greater than 5.3

keyword Most!

Sticking with downgrading to PHP 5.3 and using the current version of vBulletin would be the safest approach. Once things stabilize then look at upgrading vBulletin and then PHP if it's ever deemed necessary.
