The image of the website page you sent doesn't appear to be bathpump.com. Unfortunately in that case I won't be able to help, as I can't speak for other businesses. It seems their math is completely off. I can tell you that for us at bathpump.com, some states and international shipments do require a tax (which varies depending on location).

If you want to know specific tax costs to a certain location for bathpump.com, just let me know.

So you wont think it'll be a problem? Will it be a problem with a too short pump? Isn't Hercules and x30 the same size? In the FAQ, it says this: "The Bathmate Hercules works for gaining size up to 8.25 inches in length and 6 inches in girth. Once you get to that size or thereabouts and still want to gain more, we suggest moving up to the larger model, Bathmate Goliath. The Goliath will be re-stocked very soon."
This would work for me, but which one is correct?

At bathpump.com we actually suggest the top end of the Hercules pump is 7.8 inches for length, the same as the X30. (apologies - I mistyped the dimension last time). The X40 goes up to 9 inches. I have had some time with my bathmate and I really enjoy using this pump when I have the chance to take a warm bath. I personally prefer air pumps but I do use my bathmate to get a good warm up that leaves me with a solid plump hang afterwards.

Is lovehoney.com a legit site for getting a bathmate? I am comparing the two pictures and the lovehoney pic looks different. The blue bar on the right side is different and some other minor differences. Also, does is version 3.0 the old one? Or the most up to date one? I just noticed even the boxes are different.

Unfortunately I don't have a full list of all legitimate sellers. I can tell you that if you find prices lower than what we offer on bathpump.com, then the site is not official, as we sell at the lowest allowable prices. Unofficial sites often just copy pictures from other sites so that they appear to sell legitimate products. If the pump looks different, and the boxes are different, it's a reasonable sign that you're not dealing with an official Bathmate.

Whats up…Ive had the Bathmate for months and cant get the suction to work consistently. I shaved and that doest help the suction. Ive taken the comfort pad off and the suction still isnt there (it worked once). I cleaned it still no suction. I use baby oil gel and still no suction. Please help me. Just thinking about the whole process makes me not want to do it. PLEASE HELP.

Here's what the Bathmate manufacturers suggest:

**Hydromax Hydropump:**
If your pump has been left in the lock position over a period of time, it can change the formation of the valve.
Please flick the Hydromax pip (switch on top of the pump) left and right quickly, a few times.
This should then reset the valve.
Tutorials can be found at dxpsupport.com

If it doesn’t hold and you can see a fair amount of air we can try a flush test.
In the water again, submerge the pump, press down the cap, keep it pressed in,
place your hand over the end of the bellows gaiter and pump vigorously under water.
This will force water around the o ring and will remove any contaminants.
If there is any muck or debris there this will flush it out.

**Still, having an issue?...Please submit the following to [email protected]**

Whilst testing, can you see if the bubble's are coming from the valve tip or from inside the pump vessel?

If you're still having a problem, please private message me a picture of the back of the instruction manual, along with your full name, address and place of purchase. I can send your warranty claim to the manufacturer and ask them to ship out a replacement valve.

I just tried the BM yesterday and read through this whole thread. It seems that while the penis is being pumped, its supposed to be remain and maintain in an erect/engorged state from the vac pressure? However, that wasn't my experience. I tried in 2 states: flaccid and erect. When I inserted erect, the penis gradually lost erection and became flaccid. When entering flaccid, it remained flaccid. What am I missing?

You're missing how long you can hold and erection !

I end up losing my erection over time, no big deal. I try to go in hard and let nature take it's course. I do long, very low pressure sessions, so I might take it off and get erect again and start over.

I have a question on the bathmate that I got last month. The problem is about the latch. After I hold water in my bathmate, I try to put it on. I need to pump it to let the water come out so it will pump my penis. But my latch cannot close itself properly. After I pump, the latch is not closed so it is leaking air. I need to manually close the latch to make sure it is closed.

Also, I notice my latch is not moving smoothly. Supposedly, the latch will let the water pass through. But these days, the latch just gets stuck there. I try to adjust the latch, and it feels a little bit rusty for some reason.

My bathmate is Hercules.

Hey guys. I'm curious how much expansion you all are able to get with Bathmate. I have a Bathmate Hercules, and since I started using it entering the pump erect, I am able to pump up to about 170mm (6.7"). My BPEL is 7.25" and my NBPEL (including slight upward curve) is about 6.25." So I am able to pump basically in-between my BPEL and NBPEL.

Just kinda curious if you guys can pump up to or beyond your BPEL, or if you end up in-between like me.

I managed to get a decent vacuum with the Bathmate again by manually pressing in the black valve tab (or "pip" as the Brits say ) this was pretty frustrating, especially since it is so new, but after I fill it while pressing the tab in I then put my penis inside and get the Bathmate seated and pressured with the bellows but before I release the bellows pressure I have to make sure the tab is still pressed in.
Is this normal?

I have t he HydroMAx X30. Im 6.5 erect and 5 girth. Also, what can i do to stop my nuts from getting sucked in once I get it started working?

It definitely can be frustrating trouble shooting. Some BP users experience occasional suction issues, but most quickly find where the trouble is coming from and find the solution. It sounds like you've tried a lot of standard solutions - can I ask what size pump you're using and your size? Also let me know, when you enter the pump, and press it firmly to your body, are you experiencing any gaps? Or does it feel like the pump is tightly pressed against you but the suction isn't getting to where you need it to be? I'm talking to coworkers about other solutions to try but please let me know some more specifics about your process and approach.

Hi fickle,

Definitely look to be erect (75% is a good target) when entering the pump. Is it posible that you are losing pressure while pumping, which could explain why you're losing the erection? Are you noticing any leaks in the form of air bubbles coming from the base or the valve?
