No gains hanging, next steps?

I seriously would not give up on hanging just yet.. 2 Months is just a warm up.. After 6-8 Months I would be re-thinking it.. I've been hanging 14 months so far and have seen 0.9" of grow from that (the rest of the gains came from the pump).. I've had the longest dry spell to date just in the last 4 months of nothing.. Now I'm back to getting 1/16th" every 2 weeks or less..

Give it time in (months), and time in the hanger :)..
hey gauge , im thinking of getting the hanger out again . I stopped because I too hit a dry patch of probably 6 weeks or so with no more length . so I switched to girth work , pumps , jelqs and clamps. haven't got the patience really, for it. what do you think restarted your 2nd growth spurt , you doing anything different to get results. another 10 mm and I will satisfied at 207 / 210 mm or 8 to 8 1/4 inch and im all done . any ideas . cheers .

I agree with everything they said. It will take about 2-3 months for skin stretch. I got a Malehanger and been using for almost 6 months now. The first 2 months was so painful and completely different then a sock hanger. It wasn't the weight, it was the fact that I was cut and I could feel my skin stretching and didn't know if I'd finish my first 90 days of hanging. By the 3rd month I could handle the skin stretch and I had extra skin almost as if I restored my foreskin. Now I'm 10 days from reaching 6 months with the malehanger and when I hang I feel an internal stretch because it's targeting my ligs and the weight will feel different. It's hard to explain, but the skin stretch your feeling is good, it will be essential to being able to fatigue your ligs and you'll begin to feel it work your ligs not just your skin.

You really want to aim for fatigue to, not just how much weight you do, because you can get an injury and this can make you go backwards. I would look at your hanging progress in groups of 90 days. So the first 90 days should be conditioning, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th 90 days (3 months) are just different stages of fatiguing your ligs and documenting your results and progress. If you've already invested 2 months, just knock out the last month and stick with it!

Well it was months back now, but I was in my "dry patch" and I started upping weight.. I was getting 17.5 lb, gains were stopping.. I tried to adjust the hanger out some to make it more comfort and ended up cause a bad looking bruising injury on the bottom of my shaft.. I figured I was screwed for hanging, a bit pissed I decided to try the pump for a bit.. I took weeks off, and pumped for the last 3 weeks of it at low pressures and healed up fairly quick... I contacted Malehanger and got the starting adjustments, re-did it from "Stock" adj. and no more bruising.. They're shipped at 8 threads between the Adj. nuts by the way.. I only needed to go out 2 more, for 10 very touchy..

I went back down in weight to 5 and then quickly up to 7.5 lb.. Worked my way back up to 11 lbs now.. This was over the last 10 weeks since then.. It was like a reboot.. It worked anyway.. And I only missed maybe 2 hang days in that time.. Which I made up for other days..

I always have itchy skin when growth is happening. I moisturize with olive or coconut oil.

I got hanging scars and super dry skin and was like, damn I just ruined by dick, But I now use ManOil1 and it smooths out your dick and restores the tingle and makes it super smooth. It's for penile health and it's been working.

To heal scarring I use iodine and also use mereda and this combo has restored the smoothness, color, feeling and overall health and look of it.

ditto very much the same pattern . I think maybe far too much of the heavier weights , severe bruising and big black spots (damaged blood vessels ) on the underside of shaft , below glans. that's the main reason I stopped. will do the same as what you did. start again , low weight and build it up to 10 or 12 lb, but , go for more sets per session and incorporate my pulley system a bit more and see what happens. only want another half inch or so. thanks for your input .

Because your stretching the sh*t out of it. Skin gets micro tears too. It's itchy and means your going past the limits so you are literally stretching more than before. This is why some feel itchy before gains.

Fickle, don't worry about weight, progress slowly. It's all part of conditioning.

You may not gain until you get to 15 pounds or even more but if you push too fast you will injure something.

It's all part of the journey and it looks like your doing it correctly.

Whoa! You're already at 10 pounds?!? That is your problem. You're supposed to start at 2 pounds. It's a very slow process. I am on my third week and am at 2 pounds and will be for another week. Don't try and reinvent the wheel. Just follow the Hanging 101 routine which is very, very clear in the importance of low and slow, low weights and slowly adding weight. You are making your penis stronger not bigger because your adding too much weight, way too fast. Read the Hanging 101 post again. Also, it takes time. I know it will be 3 years of hanging every single day, every 12 hours to be more precise, just to reach my length goal. Then I can move onto girth. I expect my PE journey to take 5 years at minimum. It's a slow, slow process that takes a lot of time, commitment, consistency, and patience especially hanging. It seems the slower you take it, the bigger your gains will be in the long run.

If this was for the OP, he said in his furst post he's been hanging for 2 months, and started at 2 lbs.

I guess I'm a hard gainer. Did JP for 5 months, got nothing. Tried manual stretching for 3 months, got nothing. So I tried hanging. I've been hanging for 2 months, 2hrs a day, 10-12 hours a week, SD, 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour at night. I'm currently hanging at 10 lbs. No measurable gains (BPFSL and BPEL). The zip-ties I use to attach my weights to my hanger have gained, LOL, but not my penis.

I seem to have great PIs. Morning wood is strong and I do have improved flacid hang. I feel soreness around the ligaments/tendons above my penis after a hanging session and my penis itself feels good. Yet, no measurable gain.

Should I increase more weight or do more time? I've read Bib's posts about how at some point, no matter how tough the ligaments, enough weight will stretch them. I weight lift and my tendons/ligs in general are pretty resilient. Maybe I need to go more weight? But I've also read you want to maximize time before weight?

What am I doing wrong? Should I do more time? More weight? Try a different angle?

You are not using enough weight.

10 lbs is not enough weight. Most people start to make gains at 15 lbs.

You have not been hanging long enough. 2 months is nothing. You need a minimum of 6 months to determine before giving up.

What kind of hanger are you using? It sounds like it is a compression hanger like the bib starter. If that's true, you're probably not wrapping correctly and the hanger is too loose. The hanger is supposed to grab the internals of your penis, not just the skin. To do that, it needs to be tight.

The other possibility is that you're attaching the hanger wrong. It could be too close to your glans; there should be about 1.25" of penis exposed between the hanger and the glans.

But for me, I find I gain much more quickly if I use heat. Make a rice sock, heat it up in the microwave, and wrap it around your penis while you hang, keeping it as warm as you can tolerate. The heat makes your ligs, tunica, and septum more pliable and easier to stretch.
