Hello, I'm practically new to PE. I'm 28 years old, but I have been having some problems maintaining. I've read a couple of threads and they all seem very helpful. Had a horrible experience last night not being able to hold an erection during sex and that has set off an alarm with me. I just hope it's not too late. I read the 5 G's thread and it's filled with some amazing information that may help me in the long run.

I read about the Kegel routine, never done that before, but that is for sure going on the list. But the problem I have is keeping the erection. Last night, was well, the first time for me as far as penetrating a woman and I didn't bust right away (which she said was a plus, but she has had people not maintaining an erection before, so I shouldn't feel bad about it...but I do anyway.). Curious, do they (Kegels) help as far as erection purposes?

Don't feel badly, but you can do something about your EQ (Erection Quality).
Read the articles about kegels and edging. There is a lot of helpful information available to you.

Welcome! Don't fret too much for now. Plenty of helpful people around here to point you in the right direction. You're still plenty young, and have plenty of time to whip yourself into peak form. Read and ask, and keep a positive attitude. Anxiety will only exacerbate the problem.

Nice! I'm just starting off slow with all of this. Probably about 30 a day M-W-F just to get an understanding. Taking the 5G's and drinking the Erection Tea (and also, not watching porn for the past week).

Just bought the Bathmate about a week ago and slowly starting to see some improvement in my EQ. I had an edging session today, and well went past the POTR :(, damnit.

But I'm slowly starting to understand the concept of PE and thinking of incorporating some the workouts with my Bathmate.

It's pretty good actually. This is my first pump, so I'm just now starting to get used to everything, how to get a good seal, etc. I found that for me, that it was best for me to not use it while in the tub, because it sometimes has a tendency to slip out. So what I do, is that I wipe my area dry and wet the ring of the bathmate in order for it to stick better (yes I do fill it up with water).

Depending on how much I pump, I go no more than 25 minutes. I know the manual says 20 minutes is the maximum, but I really don't get as far into maximum pressure as some do. Now that I got the hang of the bathmate, I'm going to search around and look for some routines with it.

I only joined this forum last night so would like to say welcome to you since you're new as well. I am replying to your initial post about not staying up.
I can honestly say that this has happened to me on two occasions and would say why I think it happened and what I did to stop it.
In my case, I was and still am fairly young (23 now) and this happened when I was about 20-21 years old. It goes without saying on those occasions I was embarrassed as hell.
I used to smoke, drink, eat junk food, masturbate frequently and rarely exercised. I was running down my body and my member at a rapid rate.

After the second time this occurred, I didn't masturbate for at least 3 months, stopped smoking drank a lot less beer. I began eating less junk food and started back playing basketball a bit more. At around the 3 month mark I got an opportunity to have sex and was able to perform at a near optimum level. I got up and stayed up but this was at the beach in the night so I wasn't too happy yet. I kept up the same lifestyle with no masturbation and about 1 month later was able to perform the same way in the beach at home.

From then, I haven't had the problem as yet. One thing I would say is to discover what gets you off. If my girl (well ex now, not due to sex issues mind you) wanted sex and I wasn't really in the mood, I would give her head slowly until she came powerfully. In my case, hearing her cum gets me instantly erect.

I cannot give any insight on equipment or stuff like that but can talk from personal experience. I say to check your lifestyle, adjust accordingly and find out what arouses you to the max.
