Hi guys,
although there are probably countless similar cases to mine, i'm going to throw up a quick summary of the current state of things and how it happened in the hope someone can share some knowledge with me so I can hopefully improve this situation.
2002 (I was 23) I started doing some PE, jelqs and stretches... this lasted about 3 months before I thrombosed a vein on the top of my dick. Around this time I realised I couldn't acheive a decent erection. My stretches were being performed from the BASE of my dick, because I could get a firmer stretch, and I was probably jelquing at TOO HARD an erection level, like 75% or something. But I always warmed up and down properly.
During this period of time I was going through a low point in my life, I became kind of reclusive and depressed, which would point towards psychological causes. However, at the start I was PE'ing in the shower, and I specifically remember having to wait until my dick went DOWN enough so that I could continue.
At some point soon after I stopped, my dick didn't work properly anymore, i'm not sure of the exact moment.
Now at age 31 my dick still doesn't work properly. My problem is that although I can get my dick hard, I can't KEEP it hard. It's constantly going down like a deflating balloon (my glans fill up fine though). I suppose if I constantly stimulate my cock, if im horny and in the right frame of mind I can keep it relatively hard, like 80% for a while. But once my hand comes off, its down to 50% in 10 seconds and it's a mammoth effort to get it back hard again, all for it to flop down again as soon as one small condition isn't met, like my attention wanes for a second, or the stimulation stops for a brief time.
This problem has been present with every sexual encounter i've had in the last 8 years, save for 2 occasions. Once as soon as I got horny I basically got on top of her sans condom and banged away untill I came, although no ejaculate ("where did it go?" as shes checking her hair). Second time was with a condom in missionary position, I put it into her semi-hard and then just kept going at it, and slowly, slowly it got hard, then I dardn't change position for fear of losing it so just kept at it for like an hour until she told me to stop because she was sore!
Over the last few years I have discovered viagra and when I meet a new girl I use it, because it works so amazingly well! Thing is I have not been interested in anything long term with a girl for a long time, the most is a few months and dick problems were at the forefront.
But I have recently met a girl who I really want to make a go of things with and she doensn't know about my dick yet... i've used Viagra both times and been like a steel rod. She's only 20 and randy as hell and i'm worried this could be a deal breaker.
Anyway, in the past i've seen a sex therapist, which helped slightly, but he thought it was in my head. Because of the old official line of 'if you can get it hard enough for penetration then your dick is fine'... I could penetrate a girl with my floppy dick if I really had the inclination, but it doensn't mean I don't have a problem to resolve! The end came when after about 6 sessions he was like 'ok, I think its time you tried sex without viagra'... yeah, like its magically going to work after years of consecutive failiures. He was frustrated when I said I wasn't ready and then I phoned up cancelling a session so he discharged me.
The Urologist told me its in my head and my dick's fine... after a literal 10 second examination he told me I could not injure my dick by forcing blood into it (jelqs). He also said tests were pointless because I was fucked with or without test results and my options would be the same, viagra etc.
Just the other day I got an appointment with another urologist where I will push for tests for bloodflow and leaks.
Anyone got any advice for me on this matter? Cheers!
Other points.
I beleive I have scar tissue collagen build up in my dick (if I leave my cock alone for a while, then feel along the shaft, it's soft and squishy near the base, then as I move up under the glans, in an area about an inch squared, the whole inside feels slightly firm and bulbous. I think this is the area that grew during PE, but also the area I damaged. If i squeeze it and warm it up for a while, the whole thing feels soft, as if i've loosened the tissue up, although I can still feel a slight firmness in that area). I think that's why it's so hard to get hard and stay hard.
I wake up with morning semi's at best, never wood, except once in the night i awoke to one.. once in 8 years though.
My diet is ok, although I dont eat massive amounts of vegatables.
I'm quite fit, I play football twice a week.
My sleep pattern isn't the best, i have slept a lot in my life, I generally sleep in late.
I have had depression and anxiety over the years.
I think I have Physical ED (more of an impaired dick than complete ED) with a psychological component.
I just want to get to the root of the problem, if it's psychological I want to come to that conclusion by ruling out physical causes via tests. If it's physical I want to know the actual problem so I can make moves to improve it, like a cock ring or blood flow supplements.
Any form of advice or help muchos appreciated.
Cheers!
