Hey guys. Pretty new to pe, but already started hanging. Just wanted a place to log my sessions and progress. Feel free to pitch in anytime. I love the site and the mature attitude towards a potentially immature subject.

Starting stats (9-26-12)
Bpel 6 1/8"
girth 5"

Going for length only at the moment. If girth happens, thats cool, but i feel fine there. I actually feel fine at a little over 6" but a little progress would be nice. Only thing that really bothers me is flacid size. I'm an extreme "grower" . The sorry sucker shrinks up to embarasing size a lot of times and i want to work on it. Hanging seems like a reasonable way to progress there. I'm 3 sessions in and it seems to be getting better already. Probably in my head, since progress doesnt happen overnight :)

warm water warmup
5.5 lb x 20 min. Wrapped with warm washcloth for 10 min during hanging.

So far, no troubles. 3rd session was a lot easier on the ol boy than the first. I'm hanging with an ace bandage and figuring out how to secure it better each session. Had decent feeling through the entire session this last time. Figuring out how to keep the pressure points on the sides made a big difference.

Made further progress with wrapping. Found a VERY EASY way to wrap with nothing but an ace bandage, an old cloth belt and a boot lace. Zero pressure points and stretches evenly. Cost me nothing. And i can hang the whole 20 min without readjusting or taking a break to restore circulation.

Every day last week looked exactly like the post above. No missed sessions... weight is getting pretty light. Time to increase poundage...

Upped from 5.5 lb to 7 lb. Hardly noticed the diff.

Warmup
7lb x 15 min
20 dry jelqs
7lb x 15 min
20 dry jelqs

Still feeling like i need more weight.

10-9-12
Warmup
7 lb x 18 min
20 jelqs
7 lb x 18 min
20 jelqs

Went a little over the time both sets, but no biggy. Kind of enjoying the hanging. Didnt really want the session to end... not feeling like i'm putting in enough work, but i want to be smart and not overdo this...

Ordered a ball weight today. 20 mm x 32 mm. 10 oz surgical steel ring . will start wearing it as soon as it gets here. Get the boys hanging a little lower :)

Whats up man. Ive been reading your progress. Right on.
I been also Peing for not too long. About 3 months. Started with the manual stretches jelqs and bathmate. I've gained about half an inch in BPEL and my flaccid hang is definitely much better. About 1 month ago I incorporated the SG extender which seems to be helping alot too. I use it on average for 8 hours a day and I bump up the tension after my manual stretches to cement the gains. I read something about having the ligs heal in a cemented state somewhere..

Anyways, I should be receiving my supplies to build my hanger and the weights. Im excited. Have you made any EL gains so far? How much?

Also, I feel I should tell you even though im new like you, about 2 weeks ago I was stretching much harder than usual and following with a set of bathmate stretches because I felt I wasnt doing enough and especially after I noticed some gains which motivated me to go stronger but last week my EQ was horrible man and I know it was a direct result of doing too much. So I guess what Im trying to say is that your head will tell you one thing but experience from the old timers is much more valuable I think. Not trying to tell you what to do, just sharing my experience. Let me know about the gains if any, Im excited to start hanging!

Hey man. Glad you stopped in. I'm only on my 3rd week so i cant say i've made and hard gains yet, but i can definately tell improvement. Seems like the first week and a half or so was "conditioning" work. After that, i started feeling more comfortable. I'm actually enjoying my hang time now.

I know there are a ton of devices out there fro hanging, but what i've been using the past 2 weeks is a cloth belt. The kind you get for free on cargo shorts. It has rows of 3 eyelets on it. I cut a section off and wrapped it to make a sleeve. I use a piece of parachord to lace the eyelets together and pull it tight. It works amazing. No pressure points and circulation is great. No trouble hanging 7 lb. Dont knkw hiw heavy it will support, but only one way to find out :)

Thanks for the heads up, and i hope you continue to follow along.

Identical sessions as above up until 3 days ago. Picked up some new work and have been extremely usy the past 3 days and havent gotten in my sessions... going out of town tomorrow for over a week and wont get much in then either. Guess i'll get a stretch in when i can and try to kegel every chance i get as well as bed fowfers every night ( been doing this for the past week or so) . Will be staying in a campground in a camper with a couple other guys so not much privacy :-/

Any advise from the experts?

Don't sweat it- life happens. If you're in for the long haul, setbacks like this are just another drop in the bucket. Just sneak in what you can until your schedule clears back up and get back to it

Nevermind on the bib hanger. Just discovered the ultimate setup. Lowes sells rubber couplings with hose clamps around them. Call it something like a flex coupling... i cut one end off and used it a little while ago. Awesomeness! No pressure points as its squeezing all the way around :)

So just had a 10 min bonus session for today. The most secure, even hang i've ever felt...

Can you spare a pic of this set up?

I've been using the VLC tugger for hanging and I can hang for up to 40 minutes with no cut off circulation. The only thing is that it kinda makes my shaft sore.. if not I would wear it longer, that and im starting to feel immense fatigue in my ligs (awesome)

3 in. EPDM Rubber Hub x Hub Flex Coupling in Olympia | The Olympian

Did a google search and found this pic for you. Its what i'm using. I cut the end off so that its only about an inch wide and use that piece... ( so you can make 2 of these out of one coupling)

Wrap up little jimmy with your favorite wrap, slide it on and screw the hose clamp down til it grabs enough to hang. I'm using almost 14 lb with no problem...

I did have a thought though. Maybe the bib or whatever would allow a little better circulation since it only grabs the sides??? But its working for me.
