It's a "Big dick day" today. I swear I just walked by my hallway mirror 4, or 5 times thinking "damn, is that mine?". :)

If you go to xtubedotcom and use their search option, you can search for my screen name "malehanger" and find the vid.

Sounds like the hanging is going great, gotta love them big dick days my freind, I think I am going to start getting very aggressive so I can get that fatigue you are getting. I am going to be in the 30 lb club tomorrow morning. Oh yeah. keep up the great routine.

Still don't feel so hot. Hope I'm not coming down with something. Looks like I'm taking a short break until next Thursday. Wife and I are both off until then. No biggee, I've been killing it here the last couple weeks.

I don't blame you one bit - breaks are very important and just as important as your training days IMO. Enjoy a few days off (I only have 2 more days until I get a need break)

Well the last several days off were nice indeed. Lots of time with friends and family. I had a goal for myself this morning and I am happy to say, I was able to hit it. 28lbs hung on my first set. Still working on more hanging and will update later.

Wow, well the last 6 days off really took my tissue conditioning to crap. I DID make a full set with 28lbs without it being completely unbearable. However, the level of skin and tissue fatigue I created during that one set is mind boggling. I had to drop down to 20.5lbs on the second set and then, 15.5lbs on the third set.

20.5X15X1
15.5X15X1

I'm not disappointed overall though. It was still a great session and my penis and surrounding tissues feel very worked. If anything, I'm humbly reminded of how much a few days off can impact conditioning. I'm hanging again tomorrow.

well it looks like im back on the wagon! girth work just was too boring for me, and this 2 week break seemed like such a waste. i hope it didnt lose to much progress, but its back to the progressive hanging for me. the last 2 days have been awesome. my eq has actually jumped from it. had to drop back to 15lbs though, and came to realize i like hanging better standing up

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that I am trying to move back up in weight too quickly. My logic being that, I'm having to drop my weight way too much on my second set. I was able to hang 28lbs again on my first set this morning, but I had to drop to 20lbs before I could hang comfortably. Progressive hanging is about progress, not back pedaling. LOL I got so frustrated that I decided to wait until later today to hang more. I'm going to finish this week as strong as possible, but next Monday, I'm going to start with 25lbs. I'll work with that until I can hang it for at least all three sets on Monday and my first couple sets on Tuesday.

Ths is the 2nd time I've heard the term 'pyramid hanging' What is that? I'll assume it's adding weight as you go during any given set; is that correct?

pyramiding is when you overload at a heavy weight when lifting, and then just drop set without breaking the lift. say you can lift 200lbs in flat bench 12 times (which say is the number of reps you would want to target in your current routine), well a good pyramid would be doing 220lbs for say 8 reps, then dropping to 200 for as many as you can do, then 160 at as many as you can do, then 120 at as many as you can do. etc etc. the whole time trying to do at least 8 reps or more than the set before at each weight.

you get to fatigue quickly with an overload, then you drop set while adding extra reps

a real pyramid scheme involves a consistent weight drop not just the drop from the overload, but it is similar enough

i should clarify that what im talking about are inverse pyramids which are kind of drop sets

Ok, thanks for the clairification. I'm not a body builder or weight lifter so I'm ignorant with the concept. However, what I'm doing is just the opposite. Similar, but I'm adding weights instead of removing them and there are no reps. I'm just stacking 5 lbs every 5 minutes and not going over a 15 minute limit. The point is to reach maximum weight goal each set.

For example: Your weight goal each set is to max out at 25 lbs.
Start weight: 10 lbs
@5 minutes add 5 lbs = 15 lbs.
@5 minutes add 5 lbs = 20 lbs.
@5 minutes add 5 lbs = 25 lbs

If you do 3 sets, you will complete the equivalent of:

One 15 minute set @ 15 lbs.
One 15 minute set @ 20 lbs
One 15 minute set at @25 lbs.

MH, sorry for cluttering up your thread, not intended.

No problem Angus. I do appreciate the input!
