Just decided to register after lurking these forums for a few months. First post had to be here, as this thread helped me get a grasp of some important things (wrapping/proper hanging!). Thanks Big Al.
Now I just gotta learn/pay attention to PI's and stuff
Oh..I didn't peruse the 8 or so pages between the instructions and now, but I tweaked the hanger somewhat and have been happy with the changes I made.
First -> used 2 socks, one as the hanging "sleeve" and another sock tied to the end of it as a hanging apparatus. The second sock is tied in a loop and knotted a few times for strength. Then I used 2 shoelaces, the circular kind of heavy-duty kind. One i triple knotted into a large loop (primary hanging lace) and the second i made into what can best be described as a lasso/noose (lace has small loop tied firmly at one end with slight extra lace escaping it). This second lace is for securing the hangar, just a slipknot style. Get the sleeve positioned on your member (don't forget wrapping, very important) and pull the long side of the securing lace through the noose, tighten that area and wrap the trailing lace around and down the sock to increase contact surface area...eventually you'll have only a short amount left, which you tie to the extra trailing lace escaping from the noose.
Oh yeah...and my "roll" of the sock is more like a 3-4 inch fold which gets repeated. Allows for a wide surface over which to use the securing lace to fasten the hanger.
edit: duh...hanging lace is just a large circle. It basically pulls through the loop of the hanging sock and fits around whatever weight you use. Or, a slopknot can be made through the hanging loop, allowing another slipknot to go around your weight. This makes a very long hang (I use this to go "upward"...pretty much just over the shoulder to feel the stretch more in the base of the penis).
