damn I missed the post!!


Well, I've decided to venture into the world of architecture again.

I got burned pretty badly before and thought I was pretty much done with Architecture, professionally. last job fired me because my supervisor kept setting me up and then ratting to their supervisor about my "inefficiency"

Come to find out, they said, "I can't wait to get rid of that guy and hire the (ethnicity) guy we interviewed"

I was the wrong "color." *sigh*

I started an EEOC claim but glad I kinda held off. That's public record and it could have counted against me trying to get another job. I do want to sue them, though.

Anyway, good news!

At one point in the last month i had $0.57 in my bank account LOL! With my car insurance due with no prospects of money from my car business on the horizon, the struggle was real!

Well, I spent about 40 minutes looking for a job on that day I looked at my dismal bank account and said "f*ck it." applied to about 7 places in multiple states.

got a hit back from 1. Inteviewed and GOT IT!

First time that's ever happened to me. Every time I would interview, I interviewed VERY well but never got the job. Only time I did get the job from the interview was when I had a Phone interview, (makes me curious...)

Either way, awesomeness abounds! I start monday. i've been preparing this whole week... Seriously nervous because I want to live up to the AMAZING references given.

They're all factual, but... like... The way my references worded the work I did sounds like I'm a beast! I didn't know the work I was doing was that crazy!

Congrats SBE. Always better to start off down playing then you can impress if you know more. Then to show up with them thinking and expecting too much. I'm unable to sleep. Going on for at least a week. I need to get tired. I'm not exercising or working my mind much. Stuff I'm doing is too easy. Hope this ends soon.

Saw a docu about people who retire and where they dream to move. All my years and no one has given me a good reason for living in these freezing states their whole lives. Why do you all do it? Why do you live somewhere with that weather. Almost all those jobs can be had in better climate states. I don't get it. Then you wait till your 65 to move South. What? Lol

I live in the cold climes. I prefer cold over hot and humid. I won't be moving south when I retire either. I can add clothes when its cold. Only get so naked when its hot out.

It seems like those from the South can't tolerate the cold up North and those from the North can't tolerate the heat of the South. Although, the older I get the more I like the idea that you don't have to shovel heat. I guess it really doesn't matter where you live, there are a few months of very cold or extreme heat, but the rest of the year is nice in both areas.

Many people that have moved South say that the change of seasons, especially the fall, are one of the things they miss the most. I will never get tired of seeing the fall foliage up here.

So...went to see James Bond Spectre tonight...very disappointing...best part was the hot dog I ate!

The DB10 was only in the first half hour or so and the story line left too many loose ends...6 out of 10 at the very most!

Yeah, I think Daniel Craig needs to retire! I ain't spending money on that BS, I liked Casino Royale, that was cool. It seemed like he was taking it in a new direction, where Bond would get the sh*t beat out of him and just keep going and eventually get the upper hand, it had a cool proper Bond storyline from the original too. But all the others were without substance and I can't even remember if they had any kind of storyline.
