I wish each town had a web site for movie match. You can enter your zip code and the movies you would like to see. Someone with a match fills out when they can go. You fill out when you can go and you meet up for the movie then coffe or 15 min discussion.
Not a dating site. A movie partner

It's the one thing I don't have and have never had. Someone to go see the movies I want to see that REALLY wants to see it.
I can't stand to go with someone that's only going because it's what I want. I want them to WANT it too.
Boo hoo for me.
( hopefully this is my worst problem in life lol)

When you're playing a game of Magic: the Gathering and you need to scream into a peanut butter jar because of how bad people are at math.

I didn't see those. DonTrike, this might be right up your alley. Any illumination?

I tend not to watch horror movies, I just don't find the idea of getting scared fun. Closest one to horror I saw was Shawn of the Dead.

Yeah, I think Daniel Craig needs to retire! I ain't spending money on that BS, I liked Casino Royale, that was cool. It seemed like he was taking it in a new direction, where Bond would get the sh*t beat out of him and just keep going and eventually get the upper hand, it had a cool proper Bond storyline from the original too. But all the others were without substance and I can't even remember if they had any kind of storyline.

I think Craig is much more entertaining than Pierce Brosnan, or perhaps that is because I was getting tired of so many of the Bond cliches, what with Bond receiving every thing he will need to win the day at the beginning of the movie and leaving no surprises for the rest of the film on how he can think his way out of something.

Seeing the bad ass Bond is a lot more entertaining than the charismatic one for me.

Sounds like a setup for a slasher horror.

I live in the cold climes. I prefer cold over hot and humid. I won't be moving south when I retire either. I can add clothes when its cold. Only get so naked when its hot out.

How far north are we talking here-Anchorage north,or New York north-are you an"off grider"?

P.S.my brother lives inCharlotte,SC and it snowed there a while back

p.p.s.In 2011 it was -20 in Cardiff,Wales,UK!

An attractive female friend of mine just posted pics of her in her Poison Ivy costume, ooooh boy. I had no idea how gorgeous she'd look as a ginger. Goodness, it got warm in here all of a sudden!

Ty wishful. Found him.
Going411x7!

I'm maturing. I've had some stuff happen recently where I would go off on. I didn't. I'm calm. I'm maturing lol

Travel wishes. Wish I could go to Alaska. In their summer. I want to see their national parks. Stay in a cabin. Then go again on a cruise and see the ice bergs. Then again and visit where people live and listen to the accents lol
Such a beautiful place

OMG OMG OMG

So... Second day down! *sigh*

wonderful!

They had me come in relatively late on the first day, and one of the two owners walked me through the new hire stuff. It was a very quick slam through one of the three binders I was to receive. t'is great.

Hilarious thing happened though.

So, in the "monday status meeting" I was asked to "introduce" myself to the rest of the people in the company. I kinda just said a little about me and kept it moving. Then the other owner, who'd I'd not met yet, asked me one of the oddest, but open ended questions I've ever received from a job...

"What do you do for fun?"

"Well, I'd say, anything that has wheels, I like. I'm really into cars." then I told them a little about the business I started with modifying cars, and how I turbocharged my car.

A collective "oh cool" was heard... The one that asked the question then smiles big and starts talking about how he used to fix old classics and resell them when he was younger.

Even the other guy didn't know that about him. OMG! Car guy!!! So awesome! :D

I love how cars bring people together!!!

Second day, I dove right in. Instead of feeling like I was being set up this time, I felt like I was flying.

i tell ya, being set up at the last two jobs, I started to feel like it was something wrong with me. Knowing that it wasn't me after all is much nicer feeling. and I am INTENSELY aware of office politics now. I'm trying to CYA and catch anyone slipping an put them on blast before they blame it on me.

$hit flows mighty fast down hill in corporate life. Make sure you have your rain gear on and are wearing boots. Document everything you do and keep your ears up. I got tired of being dicked around - which is why I quit corporate life and started my own business.

Not to stir the pudding too much, but tell me something somebodyelse - as a champion for the little guy, how did it feel on the short end of the stick. Glad you found another job, but you go caught up in the rat race and ended up almost on the street for a while. What caused the demise with the previous employer? Was he right? Do you see this as a learning experience and a way to grow your career? Just wondering if the experience has changed your perspective at all. I myself took several steps back in my career for opportunities to move forward. Made it up to a corporate executive with a fortune 100 company working in the main office in a big city. I hated every minute of it. I am so more at peace since opening up my own business. Just gotta learn to keep the govn't out of my back pocket, I don't make enough to carry the world. But cheers on your new job, the steady paycheck at the end of the week will make things better soon.

I don't understand the first question. I am still a champion for the little guy. You won't believe who is on the street or on government assistance and how they got there.

My car business was booming just before Repubs shut down the federal government several years ago. When they shut the government down, the people who were young enough to enjoy modifying their cars, but old enough to make enough money to do so, worked in the government. When they lost their money, I lost mine. When the furloughs cut peoples' budget to work on their cars, I lost the stream of money I had to modify their cars.

When the government infrastructure programs and projects get raided for corporate taxes, Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industries are disproportionately impacted. Killing industries that require all my forms of work is what republicans are good at doing.

So there I am looking at dildos on amazon when I noticed that a lot of them are priced rather unusually. Most are priced normally, with just $X for said dildo, but other dildos have their $X price, but then in parenthesis you'll see ($Y/in). Apparently dildos are priced like bananas now.

They come in all shapes and sizes! :D

The realistic looking dildo's are more expensive, although I've never looked on Amazon to compare prizes. :)

It just amazed me that they priced some of them by the inch, like corn is by the pound.
