Cardio'd my ass off today.. so much so that I was nauseous, like motion sickness out the ying yang dizzy wanna hurl can't walk straight type crap. Gonna kick in the same ol tomorrow again and hope that the outcome isn't so bad lol
I'm assuming it's due to beginners luck and my increased heart rate, because I'm not used to such a thing when it comes to compound ish; so out of shape.
Stay hydrated and lots of potassium. I feel your pain, I'm finally getting back at it.
:training1:You guys can do it! :clapping:
I have several fitness goals, but the most important one for me is to get my six-pack looking like it did when I was 18 (before I became a slave to my job). My abs are looking and functioning better than they have in a long time, but they aren't quite there yet. I've made abs the first and most important part of my workout. I'm getting better at maintaining good posture and sucking them in + flexing them throughout the day. But it looks like I may need to cut the last little bit of fat to get my obliques and lower abs to really pop.
My diet is about as good as it can get, although I could probably use more veggies and grains. It's hard to find good grains (other than brown rice and cheerios lol) as it seems like there's either lots of processed crap or soy in so many things (soy apparently screws with your hormones and I don't want my good testosterone levels getting messed up, so I avoid it like the plague).
I'm going to start by picking up running again once a week, in order to cut that last little bit of fat. I'd run more, but I don't want it to interfere with my gains from lifting. Started lifting heavy at the beginning of summer. I could tell by looking in the mirror that I'd packed on a bit of lean muscle. I don't usually care much about the number on the scale because weight isn't necessarily a measure of health depending on your body composition, but I stepped on it today. Gained about 10 lbs. since summer began, and none of it appears to be fat. Guess I must be doing something right!
