I see Mistydawn has got a permanent ban. So this is my theory has to why she got banned:

In the early days when i joined PEGym i can only remember the female members being Tinkerbell, Batwoman and Mistydawn, so even though in the early days she still made anti men comments nothing was done about it and her views were tolerated. But then more agreeable female members began to join PEGym and Mistydawn was no longer needed and therefore disposed of.

There were others...I've been on this site for a long time and I've watched many members come and go. There was nikki, baybabe....err maybe those were the only other two that posted on a consistent basis.

I think I agree a little bit in part with your theory. Occasionally her posts did take jabs at men through generalizations, but it never bothered me. I think the other women on the site did not like her posts because they felt it was potentially be perceived as representative of the prevailing female view, and that they would get some backlash for it. Either way,I am sad to see Mistydawn go, and I think it was a mistake to ban her. For the most part, I found her good posts to outweigh her bad.

I disagree.

She rarely made anti-men comments in her posts. Sure, she made some, but it's not as much as people make it out to be. Her opinion is as valid as the next woman's on here. She should have been treated better then she was on here.

In my post i was defending Mistydawn.

Nothing has ever changed with Mistydawn, she has always given straight talking total honesty opinions. At first when i joined the gym some of her views annoyed me but over the months i came to like her (she's on my friends list) because she wasn't some robot who would give standard pleasing responses.

Another great thing about Mistydawn is that she never made the smaller guy feel bad ..if Mistydawn said that penis size wasn't important, guys could trust her because she was a straight talker.

And what really annoys me is that over the months lots of mods pretended that they liked Mistydawn but when it came to saving her they didn't fight for her. Where are all the mods who have resigned over this decision? The facts are lots of them were nice to her on the forums but when she needed there support she got stabbed in the back.

And if there was a vote to bring Mistydawn back to PEGym the administrators know Mistydawn would win by a landslide.

There are some forums that are free-for-alls that allow for a lot more freedom in how the members interact, but anyone that treated people like Misty did would get banned, it's not like she didn't get enough chances to try to act a bit more respectably. Even if you think all men are potential rapists, you can't just say that to them or it comes off as a bit hostile.
