My parents had seen one another in junior high school but never met. Ten years later saw each other at a club. Were married 2 weeks later. They were married for 22 years.
I met my exhusband at a party. Two months later was engaged. One month after that we were living together. We were together for 25 years.
As you can see sometimes it works. There are people who wait and then get divorced the following year. Both those relationships just mentioned are still the longest relationships of anyone I know personally.
You just never know.
That said, I firmly believe that you have a better chance for old age long term success after you yourself have lived and have your own life plan in play. Not just big dreams, but actually in play.
Note: Big dreams are awesome, fantastic and moving. But one needs to recognize and accept their personal limitations. Dont let the dream discourage you from actually moving forward in your life with what you really are capable of doing.
