We humans are so fragile. Yet can be so strong. Why some are dealt cards one way and others a bad hand. When young they have no control over what their childhood path will be. Seems very unfair. I do not like it at all. Makes me question so much.

What made this one so special?

honestly... I was made to feel very special this time. I had a few dollars this month so I got myself a few birthday presents (stuff for my car) so now I feel like I'm set for the next stage in power upgrades. I have been able to get my mom something nice (her birthday is Monday June 1st). I've been able to explore sexually with someone who I truly appreciate a lot...

And to top it off, I was treated like I was important on my B-day. every birthday for a while was always just another day... doing stuff for other people, no love or care given to me beyond a "Hey Happy Birthday " yesterday and the 28th were so completely different. Had a few things set up for me to adventure and wrapped the day with a smile with everybody calling me on a conference (those who couldn't be around) at 10:33pm to wish me happy Escape from the Womb day. LOL! I was born at 10:33pm.

Sad note. As we age so do our parents. My friends are starting to lose their parents. Now my BFF father is passing right now. I simply can't imagine my life without my parents!!! I want no part of that!! My friends dad wow what a life he's lived. I'm so proud of him and to have known him. Great man great dad great husband. Taught me how to play dominos and I still kick ass 35 years later. Great BBQ guy too. Great dancer. He's the first guy I ever knew who came home poured himself a scotch. Lol. Boy did he put up with all our crap when we were teens omg lol

He still tells the story. If Landi was with my daughter I knew they were lying about where they were going but my daughter was safe. Haha. I was wild but good if that's makes sense.

Tell them you love them when you can. He knows I love him. Grateful. Beam him up God. He's done his time well. Its peace he deserves now. Xo

Happy Belated Birthday SBE! Glad you had a great one and Happy Bday to your Mom! Mine is coming soon and I am a Disney freak, I mean fan and even though we are going there this coming weekend, I am sure we will be back there in a month for my bday! They have the best fireworks for the 4th of July to celebrate the birth of our Great Nation and heralding my bday (that's my story and I am sticking to it).

And yeah those Bday special days are awesome. Generally my birthday falls on memorial day weekend, this is the first time in my life i can remember Memorial day happening the weekend before my birthday, lol! i've always enjoyed the 3 day weekends

Sorry to hear about the reaper running around in your personal life. he took my uncle, my very intimate friend, and my best friend (like a sister) mom within the span of a month a couple years ago. 3 people up and gone dear to me. I'm blessed he's got my mom holding on as long as she is too... Spending time with her is precious to me so I try to do it as often as possible.

Always tell your loved ones you love them. sometimes you may wish you had a chance before they leave for good and don't. Chin up, Landi.
