Exactly. You will probably find that sex with a woman is different again and since you can't really simulate that experience on your own (beyond just physically) so you will have to take two steps back before you can move forward - however, this isn't bad news, because you will by that time be far better equipped to learn than you would have been otherwise.

I just read over your #1,000 post and would like to congratulate you on a work of art. I'm somewhat new (about a month) on the forum and was advised by pegasus to check out some of your work here.

I'm still working on my Pre. Ejac. situation and have made some really measurable gains in this short time. The advice you've posted has given me a tremendous confidence boost when I come out of a session rather poorly (in my opinion). I know that every experience is teaching me how to first recognize the arousal level more mindfully. Second, to cross the line between giving in to the sensation and taking control of the sensation.

Panther describes it well when he says that once you get it you are actually feeling the sensation more but spreading it around your body rather than just focusing on the penis.

I'm mostly ballooning with lube using some of JamesMonroe's advanced techniques and can do 15 to 40 mins now without ejac. The kegel/reverse kegel exercises are starting to show some benefit but I still need more work on maintaining a steady level 7 comfortably. The involuntary kegels tell me when I need to kick in with an RK and get my breathing technique deeper and slower. To this I'm trying to add the Tantric practice, on inhaling, of moving the energy up my spine to my brain and back down to the navel area on the exhale. This works about half the time now.

I've tried some edging but have a lot of trouble once I reach the PONR. I'm going to start a ballooning/edging practice on a 4/1 ratio next to see what happens.

Any suggestions you have would be welcome.

I hope this is helpful encouragement for the other new people here as less than a month ago I was at a point where I could ejac. without any physical stimulation. Just looking at a picture of a hot chick (not even nude) could set me off.

This is real short term improvement and a lot less fustrating since posts like yours are an inspiration to continue working and see what I can learn along the path. "I don't know what I have yet to learn!" Me.

I usually edge for a certain amount of time and when I feel my arousal go up I balloon for a couple of mins and that usually brings my arousal back down

Good advice! I believe that JamesMonroe does a combined edj/balloon routine as well. Will run it up the pole and see if she flies (so to speak).

I don't know if you all are circumcised or not but masturbation is so different from sex because once I enter the pussy the back of my dick I think they call it the frenlum or something.... gets an amazing sensation that it usually doesn't get through masturbation. And that extra skin getting pulled back and forth is an amazing feeling but I've been thinking about getting cut not sure yet

I was circumcised as an infant so have no concious reference point. Perhaps someone who got circumsized as an adult could chime in with an answer/opinion.

As for the sensations of the frenulum, the proported most sensitive point on the penis; I too am quite sensitive there. It has been recommended that during practice (edging and/or ballooning) to stimulate this spot while doing deep breathing and relaxation exercises. The goal is to be able to withstand constant continued stimulation while conciously maintaining an arousal level of 7 or less. This takes lots of practice and awareness of your arousal level. I find it gives me an involuntary kegel, at which time I have to slow the stimulation till that goes away, and then speed up again to see stay relaxed a little longer.

I believe it was Panther who recommended learning to let this increased stimulation in intensity spread throughout your body to disipate the energy and ultimately you would learn to be more highly stimulated yet maintain control of your arousal level. I haven't learned this yet but I think it's just a matter of time and practice to rewire my brain to respond more appropriately.

Yes I have read byggd's thread and it was some of the best advice I've seen on here I'm starting to workout now and focus on my abs and my frenulum also forces an involuntary kegel for me but I hold a RK kegel and press on it and I can feel my self wanting to involuntary kegel its a very sensitive spot

Briefly, I think it is really hard to slam on the brakes right at the PONR unless you're MMO and can power through. I like ByggD's approach of focusing on keeping at a 7. The trick I think is to bring on the countermeasures as soon as you pass the 7, rather than at PONR, i.e. at 9.5 or something. I'm sure that's possible with practice, but I'm pretty wobbly myself leaving it that late. I found circular deep breathing really effective - that is, inhale for 4 seconds or so, hold for 4 seconds or so, then exhale for 4 seconds or so, and carry on as long as you need. It's a fairly big concentration exercise, and I find if performed at level 8 or so, I reliably get back down to a mangeable 6 or 7 within 3 or 4 reps. Again self awareness is the important thing here since you will kick the involuntaries, and you then need to recognise a different sensation, be that gently rising tension, loss of mental focus, prostate activity, however you recognise it.

Incidentally, about one out of three times nowadays I get a really secure 7, such that I really have to make the effort to get to an 8 or above. Sometimes that's the result of a long slow buildup, sometimes it's the result of starting very quickly, out of the blue with little to no buildup, but other times it's still a mystery to me. However one thing I am sure of is that without the practice and control I've learnt here in the last 6 months, I would have wasted any safe 7 within 3 or 4 minutes beforehand.

If u have a lot of tension in muscles then stretching will help with that it helps me loosen up and relax and I don't involuntary kegel

The main thing that's bothering me right now is that I'll have a couple of ponr and I can fight them off but the one I really want to fight off which is usually in the 20-30 min range I can't no matter how hard I try its a fun little war but I'm losing it I always get a strong involuntary kegel and when I notice it bam its to late to RK

Ever since I've started masturbating with a tight grip I can barely go 8 mins and that's with stopping its like I have to retrain my brain all over again I think this method will help me the most with actual intercourse
