I don't think being 'fit' means sh*t to the majority of women. A guy who works hard and has lots of money and stability and confindence. A nice new status vehicle is very important in this society as well...at least it creates the image of the former attributes.

The guy who has this going for him, even if he is out of shape, bad teeth, likes to fart and belch lots in any setting, is ignorant as fuck...will almost always do better at attracting a date or mate than some fit guy with good abs who rids a bicycle and works at Subway.

Women are genetically 'wired' to look for a mate who can provide security, that and our social dynamics say money is the most important thing.

Women find more than looks attractive, much more than men do.

I did notice that my car pulled a lot of "freaks" and will generally impress lower rung women. The car doesn't impress older or more sophisticated women.

When they get older they're about passion and lust (upper 40s lower 50s-Cougar Range). That's when the whole physique thing comes into play. older women who allow themselves to drop down in age for younger guys generally will look for the hotness of a guy first... Just something I've noticed over and over. It's really only about the lust of it.

I have the best luck with women riiiight at 27-35. They're slowly realizing "hot guys" offer very little in the way of anything substantial be it conversation, stability, or compassion and they look for a connection on a mental level. Makes it very easy to have a conversation with them... Though, as someone said, if a hot guy even bats an eye at them, they lose their minds too, so it's really all just superficial.

as a student in college(26 now) and someone that has dated women in late teens, and most of the twenties range ... the younger you are...hormones racing...the physical appeal almost always wins out...older you/they are...there is much more to a good relationship than just the sex appeal.. simple answer though.... being in shape certainly helps

I never posted on this site yet, but this thread is way too interesting!
Honestly, i think looks are extremely important! In the beggining of the thread someone mentionned that some average looking guys hang around with hot women because they have the game and some good looking ones dont have. However, ultimately that chick is with the average guy only because she didnt found one hot guy for herself. Girls seek emotional security and tend to stay with guys they can attach themselves to. Yes she is dating the average looking one, but each time she crosses a hot/ripped/chiseled face guy her vagine will tell her that she wants him in the same way if you have an average looking gf and you cross a pornstar in a bikini on the beach. No possible pro-game of your girlfriend will make you not want that hot women.

Also someone mentionned that he was surprised at how some guys may reject good looking girls. Think about it, the better you look the more choice you have, so for someone that is a 10/10 a 7/10 may appear average and not interesting. However a 6/10 will probably find a 7/10 extremely hot.

Other than that, physically fit people tend to be more outgoing, active and confident since they have the tools to succeed. Health is really important, when you are young you dont think much about it, but the older you get the more you should care about your health. I am still young and my friends are so, but some of them start to experience some health issues already and i feel bad for them. A healthy lifestyle would have probably avoided these problems for them. In fact, in the industrialized world young people are now often diagnosed with problems that were before associated with old people diseases...

Bottom line is get in shape! It is not just for your physical apearance but also for the mental. Currently watching playoffs hockey and man these guys are tough! Recieve a hit, then a slap shot on the hand and man they still keep going keep going... Do you think an average couch potate joe would continue after that? Physical activity increases fitness, confidence, mental toughness and overall health.

talked with a friend of mine and she kept pushing me to hit the Gym.

We talked more and she confirmed basically what I thought. A lot of the time, i have trouble with women because I'm just too fat LOL! She calls me arrogant (that's good when it comes from a woman when she says it with a smile :) ) so i know it's not my confidence. Every girl i talk to laughs and has a great time with me, so i know that's not it. I'm an attractive fellow, so I know that's not it...

It's clearly me being fat :) I came to the conclusion long ago, however, it was just confirmed! I'm happy to report!

Guys, lose the fat and get laid MUCH easier. You don't even need half the game if you're easy on the eyes. :D It's incentive, but I just don't want a girl to like me because I'm hot :( LOL!

No doubt SBE. The ONLY reason I got laid was because, at least with my shirt on, I look pretty damn good.

I'm sick to my stomach with this thread.
There are only a few things to do each day.
Eat, sleep, work, enjoy. You've got 24 hours a day. Break it down. Find the gaps. Fill them with positives.
Be average, be your best, aspire, slack. Whatever floats your boat. Is your boat full? Empty?
Old and dirty ? New and shiny? Vintage and clean? Looks healthy and safe?

Meh

I will never come back into this thread on pms week!! Never!! Lol

Before I go I forgot to say. If your looking for a NSA or ONS duhhhh. Would you eat a plate of food that looks like sh*t?

Ugh. Give yourselves a break man. If the person is worth a thing they will learn where your beauty is.
Worthless is as worthless does.

Amiok has worth! Change your screen name! Iamok. :)

Honestly, I think women like it when guys are in shape and fit, but anything more than that generally doesn't really matter. Its this skewed perception we men have about being big muscular guys, similar to girls trying to look as thin as catwalk models.

However, It has been shown that all women generally favor men who look athletic, have V-shape, etc. Its in their DNA. Me personally, as an amateur bodybuilder, I workout because I enjoy doing it but I can tell that women like it. I mean, from a woman's perspective, after having shagged with a ton of guys with zero muscularity or a beer gut, getting slammed by the ripped greek-like sculpture guy must at least be a unique experience, and imo in a good way. I strive to be a woman's fantasy, and I think being fit has a lot to do with that, but it is not the deciding factor, far from it.

This thread makes me want to cry.

Then I read islander's post.

Stopped me from crying but I feel a lump in my throat.
