First to Newbert_Zero: anxiety makes the penis shrivel up as the blood retracts into your body to protect your heart and other vital organs, just like when it's cold outside (automatic mechanism of the body) so your case is likely to be 100% psychological.
As for the bitch that told you that stuff, here's the deal: when a girl is getting it on with a boy, and she realize he is not erect, she feels like there must be something wrong with her.
She is thinking in her head: "I COULDNT GET HIM HARD, AM I THAT UGLY?!?"
however she will never admit this, maybe not even to herself, denial is a human trait, a protective mechanism, so obviously she deflect her insecurities over at you.
Just let it go, my advice would be take viagra the first time you are going to have sex, just so you get it over with so you can live on.
Otherwise you may have this anxious situation fuck up your whole life.
Now onto dsmall
yet this occured.
Where did you get your degree in neuroscience?
You can get erections even if you severe nerves, people who are paralyzed get erections all the time without knowing it.
Also, yes you can permanently damage your nerves without severing them, you can crush them, bruise them etc. (like jelqing does)
At the time this happened I was happy, in the most sexual relationship you can imagine, most men will never even get close to experience it other than watching porn.
That was how lucky I was, then this happened, I didn't freak out, I assumed it would heal, but even when I had nocturnal erections and my girlfriend was sucking my dick in my sleep. I could wake up and be like WTF I DONT FEEL ANYTHING ANYMORE.
And this was before I had even started thinking that this could be nerve damage, so no sorry your hypothesis has been disproved to the maximum.
There seem to be this extreme tendency on here and on thundersplace that EVERYTHING is psychological, sure in many cases where people have problem with getting erection, this is the case, but NEVER when it's about sensation.
Hell I can't even feel anything when I'm urinating...
I believe it's a subconscious protective mechanism everybody has, when someone get injured it's better to go into denial and try to find other excuses so you don't have to fear that you may die from this too.
Kind of reminds me of people experimenting with steroids, they will tell you that only people who use them wrong etc. will get harmed.
However there are quite a few cases where everything was done correctly, even with doctors administrating the doses etc. where people still fuckd up their own bodies.
And atleast steroids has been researched extensively by science for nearly 50 years.
PE has had about 1 serious study on a stretching device, that's it...
So please stop being so criminally ignorant...
My sexual function.. if by that you mean erection, sorry I have no erectile problems, as I have stated before you do not need sensory nerves to get erect.
A quick google search will reveal this to you.
As for the rest, no, I have concluded that a life without me being me would be worthless.
I applaud all the people who manage to go on and I ENCOURAGE ANYONE who has been affected as bad as me to live your life to the fullest.
But personally I know what I have to do, it's all subjective.
All I'm trying to say is that people need to be warned, as displayed in comments here and over at thunders again and again, 99,9% of the people believe injuries only happen to those who does extreme exercises or damage their penis to the point where blood is shooting out of it.
This is wrong, very wrong and it will continue to cost people their lives, in the literal sense and in the sense that the enjoyment of life is robbed of a person as soon as he lose sex.

I only did the newbie routine, in a hot showerAgain, this is why a newbie routine is recommended along with suggestions to watch PI's, but there is risk. Should you not jog because there is a remote risk, that's up to you. Should you not overdo it initially, obviously.
I'm sorry but my neurologist, urologist and several urologists and neurologists online DISAGREE.Lost in torture, if you are the unlucky ones, there is nothing I can say; other than it does take a very long time, and you can start to see some sensation come back even after a year. The only way you can cause permanent damage is to sever the nerve. If you are getting erections, your nerve is not severed.

Again, no, there is NO psychological component to the numbness. My hypothesis is that you caused a severe sensory nerve injury which is healing very slowly together with some severe depression as indicated by your other personal issues that have occurred. if you are depressed, you can experience very suppressed sexual function which could be construed as almost total numbness. But again, if you were truly totally numb, then you would not be able to get any type of erection.

Go see a therapist anyway since you are basically saying that you are suicidal; try some longer acting cialis, and work on your depression. Your sexual function is almost certain to come back.
