Just remember your are doing weights, so you may well be putting on muscle mass which is good :)
You can get body calipers, to accurately check your body fat percentage, they're very easy to use, 'scooby' has the info on his site for this.

Well that confirms I definitely need some help. I just weighed myself and I am close to 5 lbs. heavier than I was 3 months ago. I was hoping I was just under 300, but I guess not. So right now I am 306 lbs.

I was doing that before, but I have been more lax about it. I even tried the whole 5 small meals a day, but I was normally missing 1 meal because of it.

There was also the month and a half or so where my depression got the better of me and I wasn't exercising or eating right. I guess 5 lbs. over 3 months isn't horrible, but it isn't what I want either.

5 lbs ain't bad, the small meals every three hours seems to work for people, but you have to measure your food (portion control), its very easy to eat more that way.

I do have trouble with measuring my food. I seem to be the only one that eats left overs and this usually leaves me eating so much more so food doesn't go bad. I hate when food goes bad, but it isn't good for me to eat more than I need to be.

Only biked today. 10.2 miles in 43 minutes. The wind was easily 10+ mph. I never got off the bike, except for traffic one time as I chose to do it as schools were getting out. I was sort of out of breath and felt tired in the first mile.

I don't get it. My last bike I was doing 10 miles and it felt more or less easy, but I am struggling with 10 miles now on this bike. Maybe I still need to get used to this bike. I have only been riding this one for two months while the last one I had for 4 years.

Right now I am worried about the weather. I can only see until the 20th and it is partly cloudy with slight chances of rain with the wind coming from the SSW at 9mph. As long as the wind isn't coming from the south I will consider that a good thing.

Now for a question. How important is stretching? Simply put, I don't stretch and never have. Could that possible be the cause of some of the pain?

That is weird. My whole right arm is in some sort of pain. Can't fully extend my arm all the way without my elbow hurting and it feels like it needs to be cracked. My shoulder is in a little more than an aching type of pain. I didn't lift anything nor do anything to it, just a normal day.

Hmm, well it is supposed to rain that day and I imagine as the week goes on weather.com will only show it raining more and more. Maybe the least I can do is drive down there.

Well it is official, no 90 mile bike ride for me this year, it is going to rain and will be in the low 40s and that is a little too cold, plus no matter what I say or how cocky I am, my body is not ready for it and I would probably end up killing myself if I tried.

I was really looking forward to it, but I guess I shouldn't do it if it isn't as safe as possible.Guess all I can do is plan for next year, train more through out the year, and plan multiple weekends rather than just one day.

Figured out why my bike was giving me so much resistance. My seat needed to come up more, giving me more power, my tires were not inflated as much as they should be, the gears were tight, and one of my spokes were broken. Not sure when the spoke broke though.

Lost a stone going onto whole grains and cutting sugar, next step is to measure the carbs now, maybe cutting out bread and making crepes instead apparently you can keep them in the fridge for a couple of days, my cereals have a lot of wheat in them so will have crepes with ham and cheese.

Gonna measure the amount of potato and rice in my meals and add some frozen vedge its only £1 for a bag and will substitute for the lost rice and potato, pasta will probably go completely will try and keep my meals unprocessed as much as possible.

Will let you know how it goes.

Cheers Lee.

Two months since I posted in here. Not doing too much, but I am thinking of some ways to continue exercising while winter comes. Been thinking of using my school's gym while I wait for my classes to start, probably just use the stationary bike. Then, if I have the time, use what little equipment I have at home.

If I have class work that needs to be done instead of working out then yes, I do need to think about when I am able to some.
