Breakfast was cereal and an apple (200-300 calories)
Lunch was a large salad, sandwich, and an apple (800 calories) unfortunately I had to settle for frozen chicken patties rather than my normal sandwich which is about half as many calories.
Dinner was something I partly skipped, but I had a chicken breast and a bowl of vegetables. (definitely under 300 calories)

I think I might end the day with a bowl of cereal. So I am easily 400 under for the day.

Dont starve yourself! And cottage cheese is a great thing to eat before bed. It has casien protien which is absorbed slowly so it helps you recover while you sleep. Muscle burns fat!

I wasn't trying to starve myself. There wasn't all that much to eat yesterday, it being the day before grocery day and most of what we had was unhealthy so I decided to make it as healthy as possible. Unfortunately no cottage cheese, but next week when money is around I will ask for it.

Did the same exercises as yesterday. Would have beat my bike time, for the same distance, if it wasn't for traffic, needing to stop, and higher wind today, but only a minute increase because of all of them.

Did the same exercises, except I beat my 10.2 mile bike time by 10 minutes (was 45 now is 35). Don't know how I did it, considering I left when the schools were getting out in my area and traffic was heavier, but I did. then did another 3 mile bike ride for errands. 60 50 lb. barbell bench presses, 50 crunches, and 21 50 lb. barbell squats.

Yep, me legs hurt.

Woo! I lost 15.8 lbs., at least that is what my scale says. I can't remember the last time I weighed myself, but that was easily 2-3 weeks ago. With my job, exercising, and watching what I eat I am losing the easy stuff quickly.

13.6 miles biked in 1 hour and 7 minutes, 63 50 lb. barbell bench presses, 22 50 lb. barbell squats, and 55 crunches. I am definitely tired.

I am going to have to either find a better seat for my bike or figure out when to break cause my rear definitely hurt during the 3rd lap. The added 4th lap definitely was a killer and I was using lower gears just to get by normally. I guess that is what I get for taking 3 days off for Diablo and work.

Biked 17 miles in 1 hour and 12 minutes (putting it 5 minutes higher than my 13.6 mile ride yesterday, which is awesome), 65 50 lb. bench presses, 23 50 lb. barbell squats, 60 crunches, and 20 bicycle moves. I am wore the hell out right now.

I biked at full gear the entire time. Not sure how I did it, but I did. Seat was still being a pain, but I made sure to get off the seat just a little more.

Try HIIT and tabata training. They're pretty intensive, but they're short (in duration). They're great for getting you into shape and for a boost to your regular program. DON'T OVERDO THEM! I recommend tabata for start because it last for only 4 minutes (basically, you exercise for 20 seconds, and 10 seconds you have active break which means that if you for example run 20 seconds, you walk 10, but you don't stop moving). I can help you with exercises and stuff, just ask if you want to know something.

As far as the diet is concerned, I won't give you any advice because I sungaze and sometimes for extended periods of time don't require food. Today is my day nine without food, just plenty of ginger tea and water. I know a lot about nutrition, but as soon as people I gave my advices to realize I *don't have to eat*, they stop listening to me.

Thanks for the offer. My non-biking could probably be improved, my biking must stay or else I won't be able to bike 90-100 miles this September.

As for the no eating thing. That seems a little extreme for me and I like the taste of food.

If I seem to get stuck in my work outs and not losing weight I can definitely come to you for advice, but for now I shall try my way, so I shall respectfully decline your offer for now, but maybe not for long.

I forgot to mention that I also don't loose weight. I can if I want, but that demands a lot of concentration. I do things alternative way, I'm into "mind over matter" stuff. Since matter IS concentrated energy....

But, just because I do things like that, doesn't mean I don't know stuff. Fat isn't your enemy, carbs are. Eat them if you deserve them. Never before sleep, and eat them before/after exercise, not on days off. I don't mean to say that you should starve yourself, just avoid them if you have option to do so. Try to eat cooked (healthier than fried) and raw food (I refer mostly to fruit and vegetables). Note that baked is not the same as fried.

These are just some guidelines, maybe they were mentioned before (I haven't read entire thread), but should help a little bit.

My no eating is feeding directly from energy instead od eating and converting food (matter) to energy. Also, I barely sense taste (neural damage) and I also like sweet. I feel general tastes (sweet, salty, sour, bitter), but no nuanses. I can't sense a difference between chocolate and honey. But my sense of smell makes up for that....

Those are definitely nice tips and I have been watching what I eat. More fruits and vegetables for sure and my caloric intake has been lower as well.

I have decided that I am only going to weigh myself only 2-3 times a month, at least two though. Will do one half way through the month and at the end/beginning of the month.

I have been feeling more confident lately just with the 15 lbs. I have lost so far, even though my weight is still rather high. Folks still tell me I don't look like I weight 300. I guess I hold my weight really well.

No biking today or yesterday, from rain and work, but I did do 75 50 lb. bench presses, 25 50 lb. barbell squats, 20 50 lb. barbell curls, and 70 crunches just to make sure I got some exercise.

The curls definitely work a different part of the arm for sure.

13.2 miles biked, 75 50 lb. bench presses, 26 50 lb. barbell squats, 21 50 lb. barbell curls, 75 crunches, and 20 bicycles.

I swear that the wind hates me with a passion. It was against me almost the entire time, which doesn't make sense since I ride in a triangle basically. I just don't get wind, I must have done something to pissed the god of wind off a long time ago.

I did less biking today because my legs hurt early on. Only did 10.2 from actual exercising and 3 for errands. Not really sure what happened. I took two days off from being busy and rain, but it felt like I took two weeks off.

2 days off in a row was probably good for you. Give your muscles time to repair.

Hopefully you're increasing the weight in your workouts, if you can do 75 reps of 50 lbs bench press easily, it's time to start increasing weight.

The 3 sets x 8~10 reps seems to be a good guideline for me. Have enough weight to be able to cause some resistance in completing 8 reps. For me, that would currently be 135 lbs for the bench press. Slowly getting stronger.

Well I only put 75 there for the total. I do the 75 in 3 sets, 30/25/20 at the moment. Unfortunately I don't have anymore weight, at least I don't think the others we used to have are in the house anymore. I started doing the curls to give my arms a different workout.

Hopefully when I work out later today my biking will be easier and the wind won't be higher than 15 mph like it has been around here.

I hope it was. I don't like to think that I am losing my strides in this. I would enjoy it if I could get to 20 miles by the end of the month at least.

I may have to look into a new bike before my bike trip. My bike doesn't quite fit me, the seat is uncomfortable only after about 45 minutes, the pedals make odd popping noises after I hit a bump, and the tires are too fat and will cause me more problems going 100 miles.

I should start looking into new bikes, but it will be difficult to find out that can hold my weight without something going wrong.
