Different type of workout today as I finally got a new bike and had to ride it home. I'll be able to start looking for jobs nearby, now I can only hope to get a job as nothing has panned out so far and I need to get $1000 by the end of the year for something special.

Workout done today, now with increased numbers. The squats are still a single set because it is much easier to only have to lift the bar over my head one time rather than two, although I suppose making it harder on myself would be a reason to split up the squats into two sets. The farmer's walk is now at 0.7 miles.

Once I replace the seat on my bike, because the one it came with is uncomfortable, for a horizontally advanced guy like myself, I will probably bike on the other days I don't do my other workout. Will need to take the bike back though so I can get a water bottle holder and a kickstand installed on it.

Workout done for today. No farmer's walk because of rain. The bench press was a little easier, but the squats were a little more difficult today.

That toe problem I had a few weeks ago, where I couldn't stretch my foot out, has somehow moved from my big toe to my small one. This is becoming quite annoying.

Workout done for today (or technically yesterday). The bench presses were slightly more difficult and the farmer's walk took slightly longer, but after that nothing interesting.

I get asked by a neighbor that sees me do this why I don't weigh myself and I am not sure as to how to answer it most of the time without telling some sort of dumb joke.

Is the Farmer's Walk comfortable? Looks awkward to me; like the hanging, extended arms would cause a lot of unnecessary joint and spine stress. Why not carry the weight on your shoulders or chest or hips to stabilize the load?

Excellent record and progression here by the way.

It can be uncomfortable at times, some days it can be more or less, but I think I have mostly gotten used to it. The only things that tend to be sore afterwards are my knees (which I find odd, but there are most likely good reasons as to why), but I have recently started doing some light stretching before, during, and after and the what used to be sleight pain is just some soreness throughout the day, maybe more. (Yes, that does mean that I have not been stretching at all before this current amount of weight.).

Excellent record and progression here by the way.

Thanks.

Workout done for today. Even though this one is smaller I swear it is more difficult, probably because I don't do it as often as my normal workout.

You are probably stabilizing the load with your knees. I would suggest balancing it on your hips, chest, or shoulders and see how that feels. I worked as a mover and we would never carry anything over 20lb per hand(40lb total) like that. You will also engage your upper body for a more holistic exercise.

Unfortunately I don't have any other way to put the weight on me besides just carrying the bar on my shoulders. I'm sure I will have back problems later in life, but I am quite alright with that for now.

Got my bike improved a little bit with a kickstand, better seat, and a water bottle holder. Then I decided to visit someone while I was in the area. Biking that much wasn't the smartest thing with me not being used to it yet. I would have thought with the farmer's walks that some of that strength would have gone over to cycling, but nope.

A lot of working out done today. Did some cycling for some errands, some yard work, and my normal Sunday workout. Towards the end my legs were definitely feeling a little weak and I had to split a couple of the workouts up to compensate for it. The next Sunday I will add 5 more pounds to these exercises.

Workout done for today. Bumped the weight up for all barbell exercises by 10 pounds. Had a little trouble putting the bar over my head for the squats and the bench press took more effort, but that is understandable. I have been noticing that the farmer's walk seems to make one of my elbows quite stiff, but the one break during it seems to clear it right up.

Biked almost 20 miles today giving my dad his father's day gift. Wasn't a great idea in retrospect with 20+ mph winds and it being over 90 degrees. As I went home I was almost sure I was going to pass out, but I some how stayed awake.

Not a lot of working out lately since biking 20 miles. The day after I helped someone move after getting very little sleep and my body, particularly my knees, are still recovering. I am hoping Wednesday I can get back to working out.

On the plus side since the 20 miles I have felt a little thinner.

Been a while since I did a workout. My knees feel much better, although the lunges were a bit of a pain and I could tell that a week and a half made me move a little slower when it came to the farmer's walk, but I suppose that will happen.

Today's workout completed. I could tell I needed to put more effort into the barbell exercises, but I suppose that makes sense. I noticed some pain in one of my knees while stretching, but while stretching again during the farmer's walk I didn't have any pain in there.

Done for today. I am pretty sure that after the next increase of weight I won't be able to just put the barbell on my shoulders by lifting it. Did the farmer's walk without taking a small break like I usually do.
