fitday.com is good to track what you eat. It's database has most of products avaible on the market. If no, then you can add your own food. Really nice page.

Just make sure you drink 8 12 oz. glasses of water a day. You will lose much faster and keep hydrated as well. As far as milk
is concerned, almond milk is much better for you and is has much more calcium, etc. than regular milk.

For tightening the abdominal muscles and your fat pad, there is nothing like swimming. My cock is so loose and "flushed flaccid,"
it is unreal when I am doing my laps. I wear speedos, and although I am 72, my bulge is obscene, and I LOVE IT.

Keep up the good work, man. Soon you will be a lean, mean sex machine!!

"I'm too sexy for my pants, too sexy for my shorts, too sexy for my baggy swimming trunks,"........

Oh I definitely drink enough water. I always have a 20 oz. bottle of water with me and go through 3-10 bottles (depending on the day and what I do in it) a day.

What is "fat pad"?

Swimming isn't all that possible since all the pools here are public and don't have lap swimming or I have to pay the YMCA $30 a month to use it, which I would rather not pay as much for my phone service as I do a pool once a week. Plus you couldn't pay me right now to take my shirt off in public to swim and show the horror of that C+ horror movie monster to a bunch of people.

Also, no speedos, gives me bad swim team flash backs of how I hated them even then, and I was really fit back then, and how I hated being forced to do swim team. Even if I am equal to that of a greek god in build I will always wear me baggy casual clothing.

Good to hear, man!! You know you could always wear a t-shirt while swimming. The thing with swimming is
it is much less stressful on your lower body while toning up every muscle, and I know I lose like crazy when
I add the sprints to my daily swim. The swimming will also help you firm your man tits. We old geezers tend to
get them. My pecs are pretty firm, actually--although I haven't taken any side pics lately. :biggrin1:

You were FORCED to do swim team? That's ridiculous!! You couldn't drag me out of the water, but I was
raised around lakes and streams.

Yeah, I am the biggest clutz who ever lived. Baggy pants end up taking me down real fast--I'll stick to my
levi's--it's a generational thing.

The last time I wore swimming trunks, I almost lost them in the pool during one of my sprints. He, he, he.
They bulge up and fill up with air and then drag me down. That's a bummer.

I have no problem with swimming, I did it every day during the weekend that I could or any other day that I could, but I hated swim team, just plain hated it. Getting up at 6 in the morning during summer vacation so I can jump into some, what felt like, ice cold water. I just never enjoyed it, but I got a lot of joy out of just plain playing in a pool or swimming at my leisure.

By baggy clothes I mean, t-shirts and the like. I normally have to wear 4x just because of my height, but my blue jeans can't be too baggy, I went through that phase in middle school and grew out of that quickly, but I enjoy a more loose fit, casual look with nothing, but a pair of blue jeans and plain black t-shirts. I am very plain when it comes to my clothing.

So, my friend just suggested that I look at http://www.myfitnesspal.com, it's a pretty neat site that lets you track your diet, and exercise goals. I just found out now, that I've been under eating, so I'm currently sorting that out. This site is pretty amazing from what I'm finding out so far, it projects you with how many proteins/carbs/ and fats you should be intaking. How many calories you should be burning per week via exercise (cardio & strength training).

Lists a magnitude of different foods that you most likely eat, keeps track of said proteins/carbs/fats of those foods, and accounts it towards your daily goal that you should be eating. I'd give the site a look.

I tend to stay away from sites that tell me my eating habits, because I know that area is awful and it is amazing how I am not catatonic. I mean I don't have much in the way of actual nutritious foods at my house so I do what I can with some cereal and an apple for breakfast, a sandwich, salad, and an apple for lunch, and try not to eat to much of whatever is made for dinner, or just have another bowl of cereal.

I know I get close to nothing in terms of vitamins or minerals from my food and while I am not helpless when it comes to cooking my own food, I know anything healthy is twice the cost and half the amount of the not so healthy alternative and I can't afford such things like that and don't really know how to cook anything past noodles and eggs.

Eh, something to keep in mind though, for when you're more financially stable. I live with my parents, so I'm milking the benefits until I'm done with community college and can transfer.

Eating healthy isn't always more expensive.. there is cheap giant bags of chicken, cheap big boxes of brown rice, cheap big bags of frozen veggies. Do yourself a favor and learn how to shop for and cook those things.. not really too hard. Also look into buying frozen fruits and making smoothies... if you eat all that stuff throughout a day you'll be hitting your micros pretty well and your macros although you might wanna cook in some canola, coconut, grape seed, or olive oil to get some fats and try to take and omega-3 fish oil supplement.. Omega-6s are bad if you get too many of them or they aren't balanced with omega-3s. Maybe eat organic beef once or twice a week and maybe some frozen salmon once a week. Look at buying whole wheat tortillas without soy in them and some spinach, red onion, and tomato, and some feta cheese plus turkey to make some nice wraps for lunch. Consider getting some almond milk and cheerios are my favorite cereal do to whole grain/no soy. I like to snack dry oatmeal mixed with granola and sunflower seeds on occasion. As Going 4 11x7 said drink 64 ounces of water a day minimal.. I prefer to drink closer to 150 ounces of water a day. Low-fat cottage cheese with granola, sunflower seeds, and or berries in it can be a great snack. I love food and healthy food can taste good and can be easy to make in 2 to 40 minutes. Nothing to do with healthy cooking is too hard.. it's not like you're making some special Mediterranean seafood dish at a 5-star restaurant. If you can't get all of you micros(vits/mins) you can buy some sups but be sure to take half of what is says to take.. taking too much of that stuff is bad.. esp folic acid and all the fat soluble ones can be deadly. Macros btw are protein, carbs, and fats if you didn't know. It's certainly worth the effort if you want to feel better and get in better shape faster.. also count your total calories and try to get between 20% - 40% of total calories for each macro.. so say 40% from protein 35% carb 25% fat. Fat has a bad wrap.. try to get a lot of healthy fats though.. some saturated fat is good.. esp the fat in cage free eggs and in coconut oil.. obviously omega-3 in fish, avocado, and in some seeds and nuts are good for you as well. It's well worth your time to look into the nutritional aspect of your journey though.. you can only get so far with exercise alone. I hope your journey continues on it's positive path.

Well my house isn't financially stable either. I live at home, mostly to take care of my mom, and my step-dad just won't buy anything that is healthier than the basic stuff, even when it doesn't cost that much more or the exact same. I keep trying to get him to buy wheat bread, but that is a struggle, he won't even discuss multi-grain pasta. I can only get him to buy lite mayo and salad dressing since he barely touches the stuff.

I know the fist time he makes me grocery shop he is going to hate how much healthier stuff I can get.

As for me personally, I just have no idea what has what in it and no idea how to cook 99.99999999% of it, so I try to keep it simple by watching calories and keeping away from stuff like candy, caffeine, soda, and fast food, although once in a while is alright like a special occasion or once a week, like with soda or one candy bar, if I feel like buying them at all.

Ah, I guess that's where we differ. My family gets by, we have 6 in the family so they try to make it work.

My sis is all about nutrition, always buying wheat bread, brown rice, whole grain pasta; the works. My dad isn't too keen on healthier foods at times, yet my mom tries to make it work.

It appears you're making the best of your situation though.

I know this is Dontrike's blog/thread but are you going to start one Koh? I'd like to see your workouts and progression as well. And btw thanks for motivating me to post Progression pics. I'm hoping for some feedback and maybe someone more experienced to tell me what my BF % likely is.

Nutrition snip.

Not trying to be disrespectful Mr. Grow, but I literally understood about 35-50% of that, and that was only things like food names and that it isn't hard to cook such things, but as soon as Omegas, fish oils, macros, micros, and things of that sort just through me for a loop. I can tell you the lore from video game and card game story lines, but I barely understood half of that. No fault or yours of course, it just flew right over my head. I have zero idea about the whole food aspect of losing weight besides watching calories and the really bad types of foods.

As for what I did understand.

I definitely drink enough water every day, anywhere from 3 - 10 20 oz. bottles a day, and a lot of those snacks sound great, but I have never seen anything like that, especially being the same price as the normal alternative. The almond milk near me is the same price for a gallon of normal milk, but half the liquid in it, which doesn't appeal to me or my money at all, especially for the amount of cereal that I can eat in a week. I like the idea of the wrap, even if I am not a fan of tomato in non sauce form and not really knowing how to cook turkey at all, and the cottage cheese sounds like a good idea, but in my head putting fruit with cheese is like putting pineapple on pizza, it should never happen. I enjoy smoothies, but not all that sure how to go about making them nor the appliances to probably do that.

I'm already fairly in shape now, I was just more focused on improving my cardio consistency, and making ends meet in my nutritional needs. I could give a good guess, or at least refer to my friends and see what they think as well. And no problem, I'm all for progress pics, it's just like a pat on the back for me when I hit that milestone.

Be it PE, or just your general health.

You are lucky for that much. Some days I don't even eat the food that is made for dinner because of how bad it would be for me and don't even eat much that night so I can lose weight. I am only doing what I can, that is for sure.

I don't even want to know what mine is because I bet it is between 30% and a septic tank of lard.

You should watch some youtube videos on it.. there are plenty.. some with have advice that may be bad and others may be very good.. the more you watch the better idea of it you will get. Also pay attention to the results people are getting with their particular diet.. and don't take advice from guys that are on steroids as their exercise and nutrition needs are way different than those of natural men. I like to watch a youtube channel called twinmuscleworkout.. some might find them extremely annoying and others extremely entertaining but their advice is generally pretty good and what I like about them is they try new things and admit when they did something wrong or not as good as it could have been in the past. They are 37/8 yr old twins that are pretty jacked and ripped naturally(no roids, hgh, prohormones) although they do take supplements such as creatine and protein and whatnot. They are currently on a diet where they only eat from 2-8 Pm and fast for the rest of the day and they visibly have had good results and claim while they're shedding fat while at 8% or lower bodyfat right now, they don't feel like they're losing strength or muscle mass which is hard to do at such a low bodyfat percentage... and they're losing more fat and say they feel great. They have some meal example videos as well but it just shows you what they're eating not how to prepare it. Other videos go into a little more depth on prep of the food and you can always google how to bake chicken or cook it in strips with a little oil(not soybean or vegetable(is soybean oil) oil). With a little research cooking none of the stuff I mentioned is difficult and with the turkey I meant deli turkey. Even if you don't have a lot of money to spend you can still eat pretty clean and healthy.. just use the internet to learn more. You'll get better with time and more knowledge.. it helps though if you take a genuine interest in it though like I have. And trust me it's not always easy.. sometimes I just don't feel like making food and get subway or jimmy johns or worse chicken wing delivery.. which is more expensive than making it myself.. but I bounce back and like you said a bad for you treat or meal once or twice a week is fine. If you do try to find out more good luck and if you come across something and have a question feel free to ask me or anyone else in the net or in real life that you think could help.

I forgot..try to drink water from non bpa plastic bottles only or better yet out of real glass. If you buy bottled water stop and buy a few BPA free water bottles and that will save lots of money in the long run.

While the fasting is probably a good idea, I am pretty sure they have been doing stuff like that for a long time and know what they are doing, while I am just doing this to get rid of a lot of excess weight and might be a bit too extreme for me. Although I really should put more work into researching all of this and trying a little more in the food area to understand it and doing more for it.

My bottle of water is just a normal bottle of commercial water (like Dasani and that sort) that I use over the course of 2-6 months.....no, I don't wash it. I like to be able to carry it around in my pocket and they fit perfectly, although BPA free (note: I have no idea what it is, just that it is bad for some reason or another) is better I just find them more cumbersome.

Yes, I am a complicated fellow.
