Frequency of sex. What a frustrating thing! How often do you and your "lover" do it?

Hubbly and I have been together for over a year now. I'm not average for a woman in that I want sex multiple times daily if possible.

Hubby on the other hand defiantly needs a daily or ever 2 day orgasm. We have sex like twice a week with me and masturbates on the other days.

Definitely bad grammar in it. So we don't live together as yet, and I think even if we did, it wouldn't be as frequent as I like it as he really likes his porn

We have been married over 25 years. Now it is maybe once a month if lucky. She has never initiated and I get tired of always testing the waters first and many times being rejected. She still has the monthly visit and that shuts everything down. She also takes a blood thinner and that kills everything including hormones or desire. We are also immersed in work and end up too tired. She will only do PIV sex and nothing else so, it also becomes kind of routine. We obviously have a strong love and now enjoy movies or dinners out together and have found hobbies. I miss the honeymoon phase, but age takes over and you learn to adapt. I am still a horny monster, but channel it differently. Love this thread and hearing how different it is for everyone across the board.

I'm in the exact same boat. We're soon to be empty nesters and it's prompted us to start talking about what our future is going to be like. I think my wife is much like most women in that she's always got 50 million things running through her head at any given moment. She's often told me that she can spend all day at work thinking how much she wants to be with me that night but when she gets home but then she comes home to some problem (mostly kid related) and it just kills her mood. Unlike most men, most women can't just take all the other things going on in her brain and put it away in a box. Another issue is my wife isn't happy with her body now and just can't wrap her mind around the fact that I find her just as desirable now as I did when we first met.

Fortunately we have been talking a LOT these last couple of weeks about all of these things and I am very hopeful that things seem to be moving in the right direction. I'm really looking forward to getting my wife 'back' and reigniting the passion we had when we were younger.

BIRTH CONTROL KILLS A WOMENS LIBIDO!!!

Children in your bed? Hell no!

My advice to all men who are no longer having or wanting children. Save your sex life by getting a vasectomy! This allows your wives or girlfriends to get of chemical birth control.

I had to consciously force my self to have sex. I always enjoyed it when I had it, but the birth control, controlled pregnancy in 3 ways.
1) stopped egg from being released
2) stopped me from thinking about sex
3) turned me into a bitch from hell, husband didn't want sex.:p

It took me almost 1 yr to get my periods back and purge the chemicals from my body. I took herbal remedies to help get my libido back.
Panax ginseng
Ashwaganda
Gotu Kola
Damiana

Natures Way - America?s leader in herbal medicine

I did hours and hours of research. I have always loved sex, but knew something was wrong with me. Natureways has been my favorite company. I would stand before God, Allah or the Easter Bunny and say getting your women off birth control and adding these herbs to her diet will change both your lives. Again, it's not over night, but it will happen. Besides, you might need the time to get in shape for her new sexual appetite!

These are my personal lifes experiences...All women are different......Do your own research to see if what worked for me would work for you or the women you love.:becky:

I have been reading this thread and stumbled upon this post. I can say that it is not true at all. Modern pills are much better, and they don't have those side effects. It is really very important that you use the best BirthControl you can get and also talk to your doc about this stuff. He will surely help you choose the best option for you
