It’s not balls when you have no proof. It’s hypocritical when you condemn chip manufacturers for moving to China, but support battery manufacturers to move to China. But I guess that’s what conservatives like to do.

China's economy is simply not allowed to import certain things, like batteries for one. They happen to be the largest suppliers of batteries in the world. If they can't import it they simply steal the technology and make it themselves and cheaper ( and inferior). What Musk did was go to the largest market and open a factory where he can control what technology can be exposed. It's a safe move and it keeps him in business.
Now chips in China? Remember when Trump put sanctions on Chinese imports and you and your whole party was up in arms because the cheap things you buy from China cost more. Very hypocritical.

It's hypocritical to push EV's on everyone and claim to be fighting inflation, but then limit manufacturers' ability to bring products to market at lower costs.

The FBI asked Twitter to research its files and paid Twitter for its time and effort, a standard procedure employed by many entities outside of the government. Perhaps not ethically proper, but definitely not unconstitutional.

"Definitely" not?? Again, the courts have ruled that the government cannot accomplish through others any actions that they, themselves, are prohibited from doing.

Pre Elon Musk, Twitter worked closely with the federal government to actively monitor and censor Americans online. Under the leadership of former Twitter employees Vijaya Gadde, James Baker, and Yoel Roth, Twitter coordinated extensively with the FBI.

Maybe not one or the other but both at the same time - a brilliant asshole. I don't know him well enough to know. For all I know, media likes to skew the story to make him appear more that way than he is. Or maybe he really is. Regardless, he certainly wouldn't be the first brilliant mind that was also a big jerk. I'm pretty sure Edison, Ford, and plenty of other inventors like them were known to be very abrasive, self-promoting, etc. Maybe it's part of the package.

I don't know other countries' constitutions, but in the US, which is where Musk operates, the government is not permitted to censor speech. If someone wants to spew misinformation, it's their right to do so. On what grounds can an Australian court order a US company to remove content? Musk makes an excellent point - Australia (and others, including some in the US) want to control what people around the world see on the internet.
