do any guys cry when you see a sad seen in moovie like love story and someone dieing like child birth or canser.Something like that.

I actually almost did just 3 minutes ago. I was watching something entitled Doctor Who: PS, and I felt it well up inside me, but like usual, it didn't come out. I kind of wish I could cry more easily, and get that release, you know? When its a really sad moment, I feel it on its way, but it seems it never really sneaks out of me, even if I want it to. I just can't seem to get the tears out.

That is not to say I haven't had my moments. In real life, when bad things happen, it is more likely for me. When a very close friend passed away suddenly, and during his funeral, I cried. Still hurts to think about. It has almost been a year now.

The thing is, I can control whether to show my tears or not. Sometimes, like when my friend passed away, I want to let them out. Sometimes you gotta let it out.

I watched some videos of abused dogs living in shelters. I didn't cry, I swear.. Someone was cutting onions.
Those damn onions.

Can't say that I cried to a movie, but there is this one song (and I got thousands) that get's me crying... every single time. That is my favorite song.

Talking of women crying... if she almost never cries and she happen to cry, it will turn me into a munch-mallow of a man. If there is one weakness that I have, it's exactly this. I get sort of lose my objectivity and saneness and I'm willing to do crazy things to correct the injustice.

Nothing wong with crying as an intense emotional outlet. Crying to manipulate me would not be a good tactic, similarly crying over seemingly small things without 'fessing up to the real and deeper reasons - both are somewhat childish. Crying because I've hurt her hurts me back. I've not experienced the post-coital crying, but if I know the sex was intense for her I'd probably be fine with it... crying because I sucked in the sack would be an ego-destroying, shrinkage-inducing, run-out-the-door and never look back kind of event - not one I want to experience!! I wanna cry just thinking of that last one...

Hey!
I am a very emotional person I laugh and cry more than the average person. I can go from laugh to cry in 4 seconds. Sometimes I can have tears welling up till they just run down my face without a sound. A good book or movie..... I can feel myself choking up before my heart is ripped in two. People always say it is good to cry and get things off your chest. There are differant kinds of tears, ones of shear joy and happiness and ones of sadness. My hubby can handle the happy ones and kiss them away, the sad ones, he does not like it at all.... says it is weak, one is only feeling sorry for oneself.

I have cried a lot just from this site but at least no one can see me. I was worse many years back. It would happen daily, at least now its maybe once a week so I laugh a lot more than I cry. He he.. if I get sad and can't pull out of it... then I take my happy pills and bingo, its amazing how the river just drys up.

Omg......I am banned from Gin & Tonic and My favorite songs of Leonard Cohen. I am going to stop here before I start to cry and bore you all with a 20 pager.

I think crying is a strength. Too many people spend too much time bottling things up and then have major explosions. Better to let things out in small increments.

Then again, too many mood swings too quickly would rapidly exhaust me just trying to keep up with my own responses. If depression and crying is daily, it is too much. Viva la Happy Pills!

There has been a lot written lately that men are emotionally, physically and chemically turned off when a woman cries.

Women cry for a lot of reasons. Can you imagine how mean and bad ass we would be without that outlet?

My question is to the men. If a woman cries after an orgasm or if she misses you, does that turn you off?
What are you thinking of at that moment?

Okay... I gotta flip this and ask you ladies: If a man cries, does that turn you off? How does it make you feel? Under what circumstances?

We experience so much of the "women cry and men don't" and "men crying is a sign of weakness" imagery and societal pressure. What do you think about this? Are men hard-wired not to cry or to cry less, is it hormonal, do men cry less due to societal pressure? Is crying a sign of weakness in men?

I cry more than most .. i also laugh more than most.
I do know that men feel helpless when you cry and they often feel they are failing even if they aren't what is making you cry. They also secretly like it when you cry at movies or tv commercial esp when you try not to let on that you are.. sucks being a soft heart. ..yes i know that probably surprises many of you but i am a huge softy.

I've never heard of a woman crying after an orgasm but if I pissed her off enough to where she cried or she cried because she missed me so much, I'd be flattered and touched and buy her dinner, flowers and make love to her all night long :)

it makes me cry when i see men crying...
I also think its bullshit that saying "real men don't cry" i think everyone needs to release that energy and crying is healthy regardless of whats between your legs.

Wow an archive thread lol

Epoch no I have no problem when a man cries. It's rare so if they do its needed and I just watch and enable it to flow.

Big dick. I cry from a big O. Not all the time but sometimes you can't control it. Usually no sound just tears. I get the total giggles too lol. Those are uncontrollable too. Neither have been a problem and only a few have been witness to it.

Men can cry but I personally wouldn't do it in front of anyone, I rarely cry whilst in pain or otherwise. I've only cried about 3 times as an adult, twice was about a girl (LOL) and because I needed to release I did it whilst on a walk at night time and I didn't wail or cry hysterically, tears flowed but I did it in a fashion where no one would notice, the other time I cried because I thought I was going bald for some reason or because I didn't like the way my hair was growing in or something stupid like that, again no noises or anything. I HATE seeing men cry! I don't mean that in a way where I'm putting said guys down, I just believe it's awful to see it because it's obviously something pretty bad most the time, I'm not trying to be sexist but obviously women are a lot more emotional and free to express their feelings about most things whereas seeing a guy cry is cringe-worthy and uncomfortable.

For me seeing a guy cry is worse than a woman. I think this is because you almost never see a guy cry and when they are crying you know its something very serious. Whereas women cry obviously about serious things as well, but also about stuff that doesnt matter/trivial things. I am not saying guys have to be matcho or anything just guys cry less and when they do its something really bad.

For me i have only experienced a woman crying after orgasm once but it wasnt a full blown cry it was more tears of happiness and she was clearly happy so it made me feel like i did a good job.

Weirdly i kinda get turned on by a girl crying - i dont mean if i see a random girl crying i think, oh wow thats hot. I mean if we are having some kinky sex and she is crying (fear, pain) then it turns me on. I think this is because i half cant believe someone gets pleasure from pain and likes to receive it. Secondly that she is trusting enough to let me take her to places she perhaps didnt know she could go. it does make me think im a bit messed up though!
