I do tend to agree boxer, but I think a month is also the longest you should go without a measurement. I think a month is a good amount of time to get a decent enough feel for how effective a particular routine is. If, after a solid month of consistent work with the same routine, you haven't had a spec of gains, I think it's time to change something. Perhaps not drastically, but maybe an increase in reps or intensity is in order. I personally try to measure every 2 weeks.I try to measure once a month, In my oppinion, the longer you can go without measuring the better, It makes the suprise of gains that much better
