Great idea Cusp. I worked at Ace in high school so maybe my old boss could hook me up with a 8-12 inch piece of 1/2" pvc (or maybe cpvc to start out with) with two caps glued on both ends. Or was you thinking something maybe a little more hard core, like perhaps a drill bit or something?:)

I'll head there first thing in the am. Thanks again Cusp:D

I have a great relationship with my gyno. Spoke with him about having anal. Told him that my pfl and I had been discussing the "position". He frowned upon it explaining that the anus is a pushing out muscle and not a taking in muscle. What do you all think of that?

Cusp, I've noticed you have some avoidance techniques. Really, Ace hardware? Which products are you thinking, talking about?

Hey Sweetie....

I agree, it is a pushing out muscle, but it really does feel wonderful to take in;) There's so many different sensations to experience with anal. It was such an erotic full feeling that made my whole body get so hot and I had this tingling feeling(like when I have a squirting O) all over my body. I guess no one can imagine/understand that until they've tried it.

Whoa, why the hell? Why was mistydawn's posts censored? Isn't that a little harsh?

I mean, if she doesn't like anal sex, then we should all be able to understand. I've known woman who don't like anal sex and they don't get chastised. Misty posts on here and she gets degraded. No, I don't agree with her stance, but it is what it is and she deserves more respect than she gets.

Props to you, mistydawn. Do what you got to do. :)

In this case it is basically like this: Say anything you want as long as we agree with you! Debate is said to be allowed as long as it is civil. More and more I am having my doubts. PEGym is a great place but s*** like this really makes me wonder..... Please don't take this as "contempt of moderator" but as a little constructive criticism.

It wasn't about agreeing or disagreeing with someone. The person could of stated their opinion about anal sex and left it at that. But that wasn't the case.

I have my doubts about your gyno, Sweetie. The anus is NOT a "pushing out" muscle. It is a ring of muscles that form a sphincter -- a "closing and opening" structure. When contracted, it closes. That is all it does. When it relaxes, it opens. It is ring of muscle, that's it. The "pushing out" that you feel is the result of longitudinal muscles that contract in waves (starting higher up inside your abdomen) to help move things down. When those muscles contract, they just shorten the tube, that's all. If they contracted from bottom to top, they would move stuff the other way!

Anyway, the anatomical design is certainly not adverse to taking things in.... like your lover's penis. Think about it -- it's probably just about the same size as what comes out, right? No anatomical reasons not to enjoy anal sex, if done properly.

(Sorry if that was too graphic but I just hate inaccurate descriptions of anatomy)

Ok, let's get this thread going again. Rando, since you have great experience with anal/as a guy, what do you suggest as a first anal toy/prostate massager for us to use on my guy?

Good question, but I'm afraid I don't have a great answer b/c a lot of my progression happened on my own.

I'm in my mid-20s now, but basically at about 16 I started exploring that area a bit more. I noticed that running a figure across my anus felt very good, so naturally I tried to finger myself, then moving it in and out and so on. Eventually I tried stuff like old toothbrush or hairbrush handles. At this time I didn't even know about the prostate mind you, just that this felt good and led to more intense ejaculatory orgasms.

About 3 years ago I came across some material that suggested you could have prostate orgasms, which were way more intense and completely separate from traditional ejaculatory orgasms. So naturally I was intrigued. I bought 2 hands free prostate massagers (name omitted b/c I was called a shill for mentioning it last time) and began practicing with those. For the first couple sessions nothing great happened, but I could tell my prostate was starting to feel awakened and something good was probably just around the corner. Somewhere around my 12th session with the massager I had a pretty intense prostate orgasm which lasted for about 30 minutes. Ever since then and for the past year or so I usually have about an 80% success rate achieving prostate "super" orgasms, in a lot of these sessions I can basically get myself in a perpetual state of orgasm. I'm not sure how long they could possibly last b/c usually after about 30 minutes I elect to stop them myself b/c it is just so intense.

So basically that is my journey on my own. Along the way I would have the occasional female partner who might be adventurous enough to finger my anus and I would let her, but none seemed that interested in going much farther. About half a year ago, I had a partner who wanted to strapon fuck me, so I agreed. By that time I had already had so much experience on my own with anal play, that I didn't really need to be "broken in" much so to speak. We used a pretty small strapon girth wise, and I felt a little stretched and the feeling was a bit odd during the first session. I could see a lot of guys having second thoughts about strapons at that point, but it is definitely worth it. I only had 2 more strapon sessions with that girl, but the 2nd and 3rd felt great. I was never actually able to achieve any kind of prostate orgasm with her, but I was starting to get more and more used to the sensation of being "fucked" and I'm sure I could achieve great things if I ever find another partner who is willing to use a strapon on me.

Sorry if that was long winded and maybe a bit graphic, but that is the condensed version of my story. So to answer your initial question, maybe get you partner a hands-free massager that he can work with on his own a bit. The prostate is something you can't just turn on overnight, you have to get used to the sensations and learn how to relax and let them build. This will make his sessions where he allows you to play with him anally that much more intense. As far as toys you can use on him, I'm not too sure b/c every girl I've been with has either used a finger or a strapon, but I believe there are skinny wand type things (some that vibrate) which are about a finger around that would probably be a lot of fun to play with. Then you can see if he's enjoying the experience, and if he is, I'm sure he'll start suggesting more intense toys to use.

From a guy's perspective, it's about being open to the experience, a lot think it's "gay" or "feminine" (I am 100% straight btw) and that can be a big hurdle to overcome. Once they give it a shot, many will want to give up if the first try or two don't produce good results, but you have to give the anatomy time to adapt and also get used to the new sensations. At this point, I can't honestly see how any guy who's willing to give this a shot and progress slowly and with patience wouldn't absolutely love it.

One other thing that's worth mentioning - I know poppers have a rep as a 'gay' drug, but there's no reason they shouldn't work equally well in this regard for a woman as for a man, and in fact my girlfriend and I often use them for this purpose. She says she finds it definitely makes the initial penetration a bit easier.

Hmm, well BW seems to know what she's talking about in this area, more than your doctor does, maybe. But there's a very simple, practial argument here, which is that every day millions of men and women take a cock up the arse, but hospitals generally aren't overflowing with people with injured bottoms, are they? If it was as dangerous as all that, injuries would be a lot more common than they are.

Of course there's the STD aspect too, but you can eliminate that (or at least greatly reduce it) by using condoms or only doing it with someone you know for sure to be STD-free - just as with normal sex, of course.

I'm not into drugs myself. With anal lube, however, I have no trouble now taking him in (and pretty quickly too, now that we are getting more experienced).

The STD and cleanliness issues are something to think about, especially if you are contemplating anal sex for the first time or with someone new. Just with any kind of sex, it is better to err on the side of caution. Use common sense about protection!

From the female perspective, one huge no-no is to let him move from anal sex back to vaginal without washing his cock first. Guys, you should all remember that: there is no going back. Once she's let you into her ass, you need a shower (with soap) before you consider moving on to anything else. I expect that this is a good idea even if you have been wearing a condom.

Yep, no ass to vagina without washing guys!

In my opinion, if you have to use drugs or get drunk to have anal, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

No fingers from ass to vagina either, I think that one could be easy to forget in the heat of the moment.

Rando, thanks for taking the time to explain how you progressed. I've definitively a newbie to this:)

Yes, thanks Rando! It is really helpful to hear details about your experiences. So much of this is mysterious when you haven't done any of it before.

You wanna know another huge NO-NO is Batwoman? What you just posted.

You know why.

Yup! I know that I should say "always wear a condom" but I also know that people don't always do that. A lot of the people posting here about anal experiences are having them with their wives, husbands, or long-term partners. I expect that many folks in those categories don't use condoms, so I am not going to pretend that they do.

Also, I know that some people think that using a condom protects you from absolutely everything. It doesn't, there are lots of fluids etc. around the edges. Showers and soap are also a very good idea!

I guess I am just pragmatic about these things....

Ugh, I can't believe anyone would actually have to be told this. You see it in porn a lot, along with 'ass to mouth' - it's just gross, really turns me off.
