I say F*** politics. It really doesn't matter what or who you vote for.
Here in Belgium we had communal elections. (for the cities etc.) a big party won the election on a general note. what happens? the other parties form coalitions so the "winning" party has nothing to say anymore. There you have your democracy
+ I need to study economical politics now and even in it's handbook it says that voting hardly does anything.
I see parties doing campaigns with big spread sheets next to the street stating: "rapist? life-long!" or "death penalty!" ... Ofcourse, 95% of people will say that. Who likes a rapist? Or child molesters?
We need to focus on our welfare, not on the act of a single person (with all due respect for the victims! I don't say being raped isn't a big deal, but I don't like the way politics try to stimulate our emotions in order to get votes. We need to be more objective and less subjective.
