Guess we got a similarity here .. In Belgium it's always cold and rainy. Summer doesn't exist anymore here. Stupid climat change
This thread is 4 years old.. But hey I'm from Belgium!
I am friends with one Belgian guy in real life. Super cool person and really friendly. But he agrees with me when I say that Belgium, like most of the rest of Europe, is declining and will quite possibly be at it's last breath when the middle of this century rolls around. European history and culture that is.
The only thing that Belgium is good for now is producing world-class soccer (or football as you Europeans call it) stars.

I know. Belgium is still doing pretty well. Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, .. Those countries are in serious problems and yes on the long term this will probably affect Belgium/Germany/France/Holland/ ...
As long as Angela Merkel keeps saying no to Euro-obligations or no to support of the European Central Bank, we are fucked. She wants Germany to remain THE top economy of Europe but she doesn't care about other EU-countries. I can't stand her. I hope she realizes she needs us (the other EU-countries).
