I'ts hard to avoid a little bit of edema happening, but you should do all you can to prevent it. It's not dangerous per se (unless very extreme) but it will work against gains. In general, it's a sign of overpumping.

Keep your pumping lower for longer durations of time to help progress your gains while limiting the occurrence of edema. Edema works against your gains by providing a kind of "fake" gain alongside your actual ones. The goal is to have more blood rushing into your penis, not interstitial fluid. The fluid doesn't aid in gains, and can be counter-productive. This is why long sessions at lower pressures are preferred.

thanks for explaining mate.

but am i thinking in water retention aint dangerous as such just gives false gains?.

reason i ask i do like the look of it and tbh i feel good when i get the thing to plump up like a bugger :) it all so makes me feel like a king if i get t just before having sex :).

but yeah im going to get an air pump soon as i hardly get a chance to use the bm due to having to use it in water plus the bm is to bi for me tbh i should have got the x30 so my plan is to use the air pump and get it nice and big (with out water retention) and then move onto the bm x40 right after so 2 stage pumping so to speak.
