This may be a silly question that might have been answered in the past but is there such a thing as Vagina Exercise (VE) for women? I understand that kegels were first designed for post pregnancy but are there any for maintaining a healthy vagina?

Although I'm not a woman the answer is yes. My girlfriend uses ben wa balls. She also uses something called a jade egg. A woman can learn to control all the muscles in her vagina separately. Its pretty cool - she can grab just one part of your dick, say the head and then the shaft.

Also, I think there are other tools to help with vagina exercises besides the ones I mentioned above.

Thanks Panther,
I like the sound of controling the muscles individually but I was thinking on the lines of what we do for our penises in PE ‘manually’ without the use of devices or tools. Our penises can be stretched, squeezed and rubbed in a plethora of ways to develop a healthier penis. I was just wondering what, if any, were the recognized exercise techniques women can do to develop a healthy vagina, stimulate sexual desire and, make sex more pleasurable for her.

I feel kind of selfish now that I've learned a thing or two since I've started PE, I want to help women understand just how much more pleasure can be had.

Kegals! I started doing them regularly about a year ago, and have been amazed with the results. I am tighter, have more control, get aroused more easily, and cum more easily. According to my guy, my G-spot feels larger and more prominent. I am much more aware of my vagina and what it is doing now, and I can control a lot about how it contracts during sex..... to the benefit of both myself and my lover. I am sure that everything about my vaginal area is healthier and gets better blood flow. I cannot say enough good things about kegels!

I've used Smartballs and they are fun, but I didn't feel like they had much effect (beyond just what I get from kegeling). I found them to be more of an entertainment device than something useful for exercises.

I do most of my kegeling while driving to and from work, and most insertable "aides" work best if you are standing or lying down, so they are not very useful for exercising while commuting. Smartballs, ben-wah balls, and jade eggs all require gravity; it is the weight of the balls etc. that provides the exercise (you have to kegel to keep them inside) and they don't do much if you're sitting. Other vaginal exercisers that you insert and squeeze (like KegelMaster) have parts that stick out, so you can only use them lying down in a bed. I expect that the latter work very well, but I simply don't have the privacy to use one so I've never invested in one. I confess that I am curious, though!

I've bought smarballs to my ex (when we were still together) and she didn't use it at the beginning, but now she told me she likes it.
But I had hard times convincing her about doing kegels, she was not really interested in it. Talking of smartballs, I've read somewhere that it can be used for exercises too, eg. you try to push them out or you pull the string and use the muscles to hold the smarballs in place. But you have to do it of course at home. She tried few times, but didn't really got convinced about it, but it was back then, I have to ask if she uses it for exercising too, when she told me she uses them quite regularly...

My girlfriend does kegels regularly now, and while we have sex she will just kegel to try to get me to ejaculate quicker, sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't. She found out though, that during our first time we did it when she was doing kegels, I was going pretty hard in her and ended up making her sore for a few days, hee hee.

I have only had one lover who could contract different portions of her pelvic floor and perivaginal muscles independently and sequentially and I have to say the effect was stunning. I don't know what she did to be able to do this, but she said that she could help bring herself to orgasm by rhythmically and sequentially contracting her muscles.

She could sure as hell make me come that way anytime she wanted to.

Did you ever discuss the type of exercises she practiced to gain this control, if so what were they?

I am starting to be able to control different pelvic floor muscles independently. It's hard, but all the kegels are helping with that. Sometimes I focus on one set of muscles, and sometimes others when I am kegeling.

Batwoman, by doing kegels, are you now able to control your vagina muscles?
I mean, when a girl doesnt have any control of her muscles down there, do you recommend kegels? Sometimes my girl becomes too tight and it starts to hurt her. Don't get me wrong, she is horny, but she has no control of her muscles down there. Its bugging her, but I don't know how to help her. She is still fairly new in sex, she doesnt know her own body yet. She needs to control her muscles down there so she doesnt involuntarily 'closes'.

Ryan, I would recommend kegels AND reverse kegels. The reverse kegels are all about forceful relaxation of the pelvic floor muscles. If she is having a hard time controlling when she contracts them, then reverse kegels should help. But she should do regular kegels too. Even though kegels are about strengthening the muscles around the vagina, doing the exercises will teach her more control over those muscles. She needs to learn how it feels at every stage of contraction -- and at different stages of the muscles being used or tired during a long session -- and kegels are great for that. I have a lot more awareness of all my vaginal muscles -- and a lot more control over them -- since I started kegelling regularly. Reverse kegels are harder (and less fun) and I have not been doing those nearly as long, but I still think they are important too.
