Hey Iguana!
Now I recently posted that traction wrapping is part of my regiment, after; edging, jelks, corkscrews, uli's, I usually wrap up, after about 20mins depending on how tight i wrap or the position im seated in, my head will swell up monstrously, sometimes it'd be painful, where i'd have to unrap it, and other times i can deal with the slight discomfort. Recently, I left the wrap on nearly 6-7hours, and when i finally took it off my flaccid state was longer than usual, (which usually happens for less than 1/2hr) but this time my flaccid hung longer for about an hour or two. I mentioned this type of traction wrapping on my first post (im somewhat new here), and I was told that it's not good to allow the blood to be constricted in my glands longer than 20mins. Just wondering what's your take on this?

Sorry for the delay. I agree. It's great for flaccid hang. Just keep an eye on your glans. When mine starts getting dark (usually around 30 mins), I just squeeze out the old blood and kegel in some new. I have never had any issues.

I have a question with regard to a the presence of a substantial fat pad. Would traction wrapping still be effective, or should I wait until I lose a bit of the fat pad to proceed? Since half of the flacid is buried underneath it.

Half Wrap

Half Wrap

I have had some similar issues to those posted here, in that when i wrap, the head tends to want to come inside the wrap...and is somewhat uncomfortable...I wrap slightly different than most people post about...I feel it takes care of that and calms the concerns that you are restricting gains by wrapping...The trick for me is to take an ace bandace or whatever you like, something no more than 2" thick by like 12-15"...Then stretch and wrap ONLY the base of the penis...it doesnt stretch you out that extra couple inches, but does prevent turtling and lets every inch ahead of the wrap get plump with blood instead of just the glans...and allows for better circulation....just my 2 cents...

I wrap my penis, when I feel that it is trying to get erect, it fills with a little more blood than usually especially in the glans, but it doesn't get fully erect. Am I wrapping too tight. It doens't hurt, but when I am not wrapped I get a fully erection, but with the wrap this doesn't happen so is this too tight or not?

How snug does this fit? No chance it could slip off, say when wearing shorts? Or not so tight that if you start getting erect,The What-a-Grip does fit snug and there is no chance that it will slip off in what ever you are wearing.

I used the What A Grip today for the first time. It will not slip off, no possible way. Unless u leave oil or lubricant on your shaft prior to applying.
What did happened to me was that about 1 or 2 hours after I put it on, cause of foreskin, it came over my glands and was very uncomfortable. I couldnt get it off due to where I was for over 2 hours. No negative effects on my penis, it was just uncomfortable and I dont think it was doing the job of keeping the penis elongated since it came over the glans.
Tomorrow I will try cutting it to the exact size of my non-erected penis and see what happens.
Oh I also used the outer side over my skin rather than how its supposed to go on the tennis racket as it is smoother than the inner side.

About What A Grip, when I get it off my dick looks deformed ! Michelin avatar's like. Is this normal? Is like some areas of my foreskin retain blood while the penis gets smaller after a couple of hours after workout. Am I putting it on too early after the workout or its just nothing to worry about??

My experience has been that traction wrapping works best when applied in the flaccid state. If erect or partially erect, the wrap will loosen as the erection subsides.

Lol good thread. Just started myself. Works good. Funny story for anyone following this. I put on some hospital tape. Was just fine until it took me an hour to find the end O_O. Now thats frustrating haha and for god's sake no one use a box cutter to remove tape!!

Well, everyone has their own technique with traction wrapping. I have a different traction wrapping set up where I use a thick ace bandage under the penis and one on the top side to keep the hold then apply sticky bandage wrap which allows me to do this while erect and keep the hold when it goes flaccid in return allowing some blood flow room. Getting a good traction wrap technique takes practice trail and error according to what kind of hold you are looking for. It does promote cementing indeed. I don't stretch as much as I used to and manage to keep the length gains due to the cementing process via traction wrapping. It does work.

Just wanted to bring this question up, since it hasn't really been discussed, but what are the affects of wrapping on girth? Theoretically, wouldn't wrapping defeat the purpose of post girth workouts because it doesn't allow for a 'plump' effect? I am interested in wrapping, but since my workouts are both fairly equal for length and girth, I don't want to impede my girth gains
