As long as you don't work for DTY stores, Super Markets, Food industry, my son works his nuts off all over Easter and all this week being a chef, his pub/restaurant goes crazy this time off the year.

Today is Aristomenis day, his tomb is 10 minutes walk from my villa go past at least once a day dog walking, if you google Aristomenis tomb your find a picture of it now its posh as it has a corrugated tin roof over it, if you can find a picture of Nestors tomb your see it has a stone dome over it this would have had the same Nestor being a king his was rebuilt.

So who was Aristomenis.

Aristomenes was a Messenian hero of the seventh century BC, of semi-divine origin, who performed incredible exploits while leading his country for many years in resistance to the Spartans. On one occasion an eagle aided his miraculous escape from captivity.

Sorry but that's all I could find on him, but most of this whole area was once all under water, as there is lots of evidence of that, I have sitting next to me an oyster that is around 3 inch's thick and yes very old and it has many layers of shell.

This hasn’t been a very good Father’s Day so far. Started yesterday with a text from my surgical hospital not to drink 48 hours before my knee replacement surgery. Arrrgh. Guess it slow the emptying of the stomach. So, today is probably the first sober Father’s Day I’ve ever had. Double Arrgh. Then this morning up at 3;30 am I stepped in some dat sh*t going out to the convertible. I didn’t know it. Even butt naked driving with the top down I knew what happen. Then my morning gal calls off. A long Day indeed. Son just stopped by so steaks on the Barbie. Happy Father’s Day all.
