The only thing is: why do you set your mind on 'getting things'. They say this several times - it is a very materialistic way of looking at your life and the world. Rather, isn't it worth questioning what you value, whether it is manifesting material things or finding true happiness in life.

I don't necessarily focus on "things" pe_ZEN. For instance, I'm divorced and I do not like my ex wife. I do a far better job taking care of our kids than she does and I've simply had enough of her ridiculous behavior. Sooooooo, I'm now focusing on my oldest daughter living with me. She's happier with me and my home and she's constantly telling me how she's unhappy with her mom and her mother's home. So, I'm using the power of the secret to get her to be living with me. Also, she starts middle school next year so I'm also focusing on her having a GREAT, AWESOME time at middle school because my experience sucked, even though that was 25 years ago for me, I don't want my daughter to experience what I went through. So, I'm concentrating on her having a great time and doing very well academically. So, it's not all about "things".

It depends on what it is I want. With this promotion I just got at work, I envisioned myself in the position, doing the job and working at the facility the job is at and I focused on that for the past several weeks. I follow the teachings quite seriously. Do I have a mantra? No, but depending on what it is, I focus on it, visualize it and make it one of my core thoughts until I've reached my goal.

Interesting....this is definitely worth investigating...it sounds very NLP-like...

Naw, I know MBD it's nothing personal - just a warning to others that aren't familiar with it; and as far as that goes, life is certainly not all roses. Even when we manifest what we want happiness still lacks. It is life's toughest lesson

I really want to do this, to envision a bigger dick for myself, money, success and of course, a woman who truly loves me.

However, even though it's almost a month to date since my nasty break up, I still miss the bitch that did this to me, I wake up every morning and the first thing that comse into my head is her, along with that massive pang of regret and many other things, I want her back even though she isn't the one for me.

I am trying to get over her day by day but all these negative thoughts are making it so much harder, I don't want to make myself worse by thinking about it and I don't know what to do.

I do know that you need to think positively but how can you when your state or frame of mind is in limbo and is tending to think negatively?

Positive thinking takes discipline, especially when you're used to thinking negatively. You have to think positively in order for the secret to work.

What is it about her that is making you mentally hold onto her? Is it the fear of being alone?

While I was with her my entire lifestyle changed. I miss her in so many ways and we used to be with each other all the time. I have my old lifestyle back, kinda but since I'm not happy it's not making me feel any better. I haven't got anything to look forward to anymore. I used to love having her on my mind and being able to see her after I'd gone out and done things. Now I have nothing, no prospects and I'm pretty much just bored. I'm hanging out with my friends but that's pretty much the same thing day in and day out. Every time I come home and I think about her I get depressed because of how open I was with her, a part of me disbelieves what she did to me because I love her so much and want to give her the benefit of the doubt. I was with her for 7 months for 5 - 7 hours a day every day. It's really really hard to move on. It makes it worse to think that she has and is probably fucking her brains out...

I don't know what to do to think positively... it's so hard in the state of mind I'm in.

Dude, holding onto her isn't doing you any favors. She's moved on and you're still living in the past and holding onto a memory. You can keep that memory in your heart forever dude but you can't keep punishing yourself by not going forward in your own life. There are so many other women out there man that would love a guy like you. I know it's painful but damn it man, come on. You've probably spent the past 7 months or so that you've been broken up wondering about her, what she's doing, who she's fucking, blah blah blah. There is no nice way to say this so I'm just going to say it: grow a pair and move on with your life. She certainly has and I can guarantee you she hasn't looked back. Why are you spending so much of your time and your life focusing on a past relationship? Not only that, but why are you placing all of your personal happiness in her hands? Be happy with who YOU are and quit worrying about her and what she's doing or who she's doing.

I just recently bought the Secret, and I was honestly blown away by it. My primary goals right now are to make my penis bigger and to lose 120 lbs and develop a muscular physique. I really believe the secret is why only a few ppl truly succeed on what they truly want. With regard to developing a muscular physique, or anything, not only does the secret make it clear, but I also found a great video on youtube in which Arnold Schwarzenegger sums the components of "The Secret" very well. Heres the link.
