Focus on your positives more than your negatives. You are unique, there ain't anyone else in the world exactly like you. You've got qualities that set you apart from everyone else. Be confident and love yourself, carry yourself like YOU ARE THE MAN, cause if you don't, she may leave you for someone who does.
Thanks Thrill,
Yes. Her and i are both pretty positive people. Of course, we have our worries like anybody else in the world. But we do get a long quite famously. She loathes it when I have to leave for the weekend to go somewhere. And I horrifically miss her not being near me. She sends me texts and emails all the time (as I do) wanting and wishing that we were together. If it is the freshness of the relationship, then it has been fresh for the two years we have been together or the 4+ we have known one another.
I am naturally pretty alpha'ish with a very strong type A personality. She is pretty type A as well. But for the most part, our strengths compliment one another pretty fricking good.
We are both very secure with ourselves. Thus, we really do love one another because of it.
We discuss what makes us happy, uncomfortable or angry. We made it a point that no topic should be taboo.
And thank you for the compliment on how pretty she is, Brainsick.
She is very physically attractive. And I definitely am lucky that she is so gorgeous. But, I think part of the reason she is with me (maybe a small part) is that I have told her that while I love how she looks, what is more important to me is 'who' she is. I don't care if she is the prettiest thing in the world. A rotten attitude automatically makes someone ugly. She agrees and totally knows that if she was an ugly person on the inside, I would not be with her. I am pretty sure that I am her first relationship that isn't over taken by insecurity on how she looks. I have told her countless times that if she is unhappy with me, she is free to leave the relationship any time. Which is absolutely true and not reverse psychology. We have broken up several times. Well, if two or three days is considered a break up. We have both come racing back towards one another. Sometimes it is her. Sometimes it is me. It is pretty even. I do not and will not be with a person who doesn't want to be with me. Regardless of how attractive they are.
