If you get into a long-term relationship with her (or anyone else), then you and your partner can talk over getting tested and finding another form of birth control so you can give up the condoms. But before you've even had sex it would be weird to bring up such a thing, I think.

Wear a condom! Then once you are in a long term relationship ask. Unless you are in a long term relationship before you finally decide to have sex. In that case I don't think it would be weird at all. But before the first kiss would be creepy.

Moxsum PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get tested and wear a condom! I volunteer at several AIDS wards giving Reiki to the people, I can tell you it is not something that you would want to get. Women and elderly HIV cases are steadily climbing so always wear a condom; remember you are not just sleeping with one individual you are sleeping with everyone they have slept with.

Wear a condom. Is there a test for herpes? I remember that only when a person had one that it could be tested. That may have changed. I just go with condoms.
So how about instead of just slapping on a rubber and hoping for the best you talk to her about it? Yeah it will be difficult and maybe awkward brining it into the conversation but if you start with a little flirting and gradually lead it towards something more sexual you might find an opening. Who knows she could be having the same thoughts and feelings as you and could be talking about it on her vaj boards with her anonymous friends. She would probably have more respect for you and deeper feelings if you show that you care about her wellbeing and being safe. If she just wants some dickly and doesn't really seem to care about that kind of thing then to me that would be a giant red flag. How many before you do you think she could have done the same thing with?

A talk is good. I have come straight out many times and brought up the concern of STD's. I'm just really direct like that. Some were thankful I brought it up. Some are put off.
