It is with no great pleasure and a fair amount of trepidation that I bring you this news. There would be a better place to post this thread if there was a dumbshit forum, but I think it will work here.

I quit smoking four months ago with the aid of Nicoretete mini lozenges. Four night ago on the way home from work, I was stressing and out of the lozenges so I stopped for a pack of smokes, (I thought that it would help my homicidal mood). The next morning I noticed that my flaccid hang was much smaller as I continued to smoke through out the day it just kept getting smaller and I also noticed a big in pact of my EQ. At first I thought that it was just because I was not feeling well. Then it dawned on me what was going on. I tossed the smokes and within a few hours I started to get a better flaccid hang. It has taken these past couple of days to get my normal EQ back.

Now I know some of you folks will think that it was all just in my head or maybe coincidences, But this is the second time that I've had this happen, only before I failed to make the connection. As fore me I am done forever with the smoking thing. You can call it the last straw.

I am posting this for the sole purpose, as yet another wittiness to the health issues associated with smoking. I do know better than to smoke, but for a lot of years it has not been enough. For those of you who doubt me I would encourage you to quite and then start again and then tell me that I'm wrong. For those of you who don't smoke and doubt me start smoking and let me know how it goes for you.

I dont think its crazy to think that. I was a heavy smoker from the age of 13(1im 21 now) and recently just quit tobacco for good altogether, I also chewed snuff, and throughout, getting hard, let alone having any sort of hang was nonexistant, since I quit nicotine altogether I have noticed great things. Im overweight so it still needs to improve alot but, nonetheless, great. Im glad Im done with nicotine.

nicotine is a stimulant. stimulants constrict blood vessels. less blood, less hang. same reason you have trouble getting hard on coke, or amphetamines.

its likely that the reason it effected you so much is because you hadn't been smoking and had lost your nicotine tolerance.

A pack lasts me three days if I don't bum any out... and I tend to not smoke unless I'm drinking, at work, or driving. I don't need them. I have been without one for about two days now and I don't feel any different.
We need someone who smokes ALOT to try and do a month with no smokes. With their PE, they need to maintain everything... try not to gain much, but maintain your size. After the month, take the measurement and see what happens.
Anyone want to volunteer?
I would, but, like I said, I don't think I smoke enough for it to make THAT much of a difference.

That was me, about five to seven smokes per day. Even my doctor told me not to worry about it. The last time I quite it was for three years. This time I really think it's for good.

When I smoked it absolutely demolished my sexual health and ability to perform.

Totally destroyed it! and it took a while to get it back. I loathe nicotine for that reason now, it made me a bad lover!

i have the same exact smoking habits as you and haven't noticed anything detrimental to my penile health. as you said, we need a heavy smoker to weigh in here.

I smoked fairly regular for 12 years. A full pack a day for the last 5 or 6 years of the habit.

Always knowing the harmful effects on cardiovascular and circulatory health and the expense which is a $300.00 plus/month habit in Canada, I quit cold turkey. I had zero cravings or anxiety. When your mindset is focused on the positive it is very easy to quit but if you focus on the negative you set yourself up for exactly that...misery, anxiety and failure.

I can't believe how incredibly good I feel without the filthy cig habit. Oxygen is a far better high than nicotine. My erection level has went up dramatically as well, as has my flaccid hang and the productivity of my PE workouts.

If you don't believe that smoking is or will detrimentally effect your erectile function, size and performance....just wait. It creeps in slowly, especially if you started smoking at a young age and once the effects are measurable it will have been so long since you were at 100% that you won't remember what is was like.

Smoking is the #1 worst socially acceptable thing you can do to your virility and penis...there are worse things such as meth, cocaine but that is a whole other issue.

edited to add: here in Canada they have graphic health warnings on cigarette packages one of which shows a limp cigarette, nothing but ash...with the warning "Smoking causes impotence" due to reduced circulation to the penis.

Good for you! I forgot about the smell, even though I only smoke about six a day there were times that my wife would not let me touch her, (god x-smokers are the worst)," You smell like smoke." In less than a come closer tone.

The smell is definatly something you become aware of once you have quit smoking. When I pass someone in grocery store who smokes heavily I find the smell disgusting and sad. Then you look at the lines in their face and the yellowing of their fingers...thank the good Lord I'm not going to be a smoking statistic.

will be extremely difficult

First thing you MUST do is change that attitude man. Start paying attention to that inner dialogue that goes on inside your head. Statements such as "this will be extremely difficult" are what you will experience when you speak it and believe it.

Change your attitude and start saying and BELIEVING that stopping smoking IS easy and saying "I AM so happy that I do not smoke, I feel so awesome, I am so feeling how healthy I AM" and really allow and feel the emotion in these affirmations. Go for a drive where nobody can hear you and get out of the car and shout it out loud.

Think of it this way. Your thoughts are like seeds. When you repeat and affirm your thoughts (seeds waiting to develop and manifest) they are being planted into your subconsious mind (soil of your garden). By re-affirming and giving belief to your thoughts you are nourishing them into life. These thoughts will grow from your subconsious into your conscious mind and become manifested into your reality.

If you plant corn you don't get watermelon....know what I'm saying.

Henry Ford is quoted as saying "those who say they can and those who say they can't are both right".
