In the hustle and bustle of the modern day, it can be easy to miss out on the simple pleasures of life. This thread is where you share some of your favorite simple pleasures.

For example, I just turned on the TV at the exact right time to see the first play of the Sunday football game tonight. Not that any of my favorite teams are playing, but I do want to see the Pats go down after they massacred the good ol' Texans last week.

It isn't the highlight of my day, but it did brighten it up and made me feel fortunate.

EDIT: This was posted before the game was interrupted for a presidential speech and I was forced to search 5 minutes to find it in HD. Ahh, the simple annoyances of life.

Two guys literally THROWN out of the building. I'm the doorman, and I have no idea what just happened. They're fuming, their shirts are ripped and I'm standing there, blocking their entrance.
