Ok, how does one women or man find a person to connect with, without the porn industry having: affected their views and sexual beliefs in what I am finding to be an unhealthy way,
Here are the examples:

1.The Christian

A young man who believes in no sex before marriage, however anal sex is just fine? What happend to sodomy? This is a self-avowed christian guy, so anal sex is now ok morally but normal vaginal/penal heterosexual sex is morally wrong? So has christianity changed? Is there now an exeption; The vagina must still have an intact hymen, but the anus having no hymen is ok? The vagina before marriage is evil, anus before marriage is fine? is this not confusing?

2 The Buddhist ..... is coming next instalment

I'm confused as to the intent and tone for this post. I don't think most Christians that are opposed to sex before marriage would say that anal sex is fine. Maybe a few, but I think most recognize the strangeness of that position.

I just got a headache trying to read this aimless ramble. Can't wait to hear the stereotypes dropped in the Muslim addition.

That's weird. I guess it makes sense that some Christians are like that. My ex girlfriend was a Christian though, and there is no way I was getting mr. Porker anywhere there, despite my enthusiastic attitude. Apparently she had less guilt about getting pregnant by another man's child while still married than she had about getting a little back door action. If he was not at all interested in your vagina or feminine attributes, but solely interested in your nethermost region, he was confused as to his sexual orientation or had a fetish. most Christian guys I know think sodomy is wrong, and would much rather have vagina sex than anal sex. That young man may have a porn issue, like I did. How old is he?

Not sure where you're headed in this post or what exactly is your intent but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I know I'm gonna get flamed but don't really care. True Christianity/God has never and will never change, the Bible says what it says and that is final. What was wrong or called sin in the BIble will always be wrong and called sin. What has changed it peoples willingness to make excuses to justify what they want to do and their interpretation of scripture. People do it all the time, not just with scripture but with all boundaries or laws. How many times have you or I done something we knew we shouldn't do, whether immoral or illegal, and then made up some lame excuse to justify what we want. "Oh, I just drive 10 mph over the speed limit when I'm in a hurry" or it's the clerks fault she gave me too much money back, not mine. I didn't do anything wrong." Either way, we justify what we want. The moral law or legal law didn't change, we made the excuse for what we wanted.

It's all my ass. Christians (the Bible) says no sex until marriage. Anal sex is sex. I am aware that some muslim girls are engaging in anal sex because they MUST keep their hymen in tact to get a husband. Muslims are obsessed by a woman being untouched.

there was a family guy episode that dealt with this...

Oh yeah, now there's a great show to guide your way!!

I agree with what beetleboy said. And beetleboy, the one thing we all cling to when we think of God is the one verse in the Bible that says God knows our heart. "In my heart I didn't mean any harm"...I'm not sure that's gonna do it if there really is a God. None of us know for a fact. It is all faith. Personally, just to share it, I do believe in God. I just do not know what is true and what isn't.

No, Christianity has not changed but Chirstians have. Any sexual contact before mariage is a sin. The only sexual contact that is not a sin before mariage is masturbation.

Pegasus,
Don't confuse religion with Christianity. They are separate. Jesus himself spoke out against the "religious" of his day. They were known as Pharisee's and he called them snakes and spoke against their religiousness. (I know it's not a real word but it makes the point) People kill in the name of religion and just because a person is religious it does not mean they are Christian. To be a Christian means to be "Christ like" not religious. Christianity changes a persons life and I personally believe that if more people were more "Christ like" we would have fewer problems in the world. Just my 2 cents.

I don't think peg is confusing religion with Christianity. All he said is he's glad he's not religious.

Even that is unclean according to Moses

Hell, nocturnal emissions were frowned upon and you were to be exiled for I think it was 7 days or a whole day. Something to that effect. Jesus said "if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off" he said that in context to or within the same vicinity as temptation. Now he didn't mean that literally, he just meant to ignore it and don't give in to yourself.

It's wild. I just ask for forgiveness and hope that his infinite patience doesn't wear thin, lol! hard not to sin, but as long as you make a real effort, you're doing alright, i figure ~shrugs~

as the old sayin goes "Easier to ask for Forgiveness than it is to ask for permission."

Is this a debate about how different influences effect sex or sexual behaviors and/ or taboos.
if its not porn warping perspectives then its religion? or even politics?
i really am not sure what the intent of the original poster was .. or where they are going with this thread.
but i am personally a little tired of religious debates at the gym.. they all most always seem to bring out negative discussions and disagreements of perspectives :(

I hear if you pray to FSM wearing a pirate outfit on your penis, he will grant it the thickness and majesty of his noodly appendage.

If you don't like the discussion then don't read the thread, pretty simple. SInce the original poster hasn't explained the intent of his post then I think it's open to debate and there have been numerous discussions in the gym on topics that we don't all care for but that doesn't mean they aren't talked about. If there is no interest in the thread then it simply dies. If the discussion gets out of control and becomes abusive than it will be ended by the moderators. This thread hasn't gone that way so there really shouldn't be a problem, it's simply a discussion and there seems to be interest.
