Go look at the poll forum 2022 midterms. I post and all I get is the PE VOCABULARY
You for the information. It looks like the thread title is creating a conflict with the URL. The forum redirect we implemented (which redirects old forum links to new link) detects 2022 as the thread ID.
Can you try to use another Thread title?

Hey guys, Im having problem changing my profile, especially the signature of mine. I tried using different browsers, but I cant find a edit button in my profile to change my signature. Does anyone have the same issue?
I click on my profile button and then on top on "Your profile" and then on About. Now I can see my goals and my signature, but I cant find an edit button...? what am I doing wrong?

Why can't you implement some other forum redirect so that all the existing threads which start with a number aren't permanently lost? Just curious. Isn't there a way to universally fix this?

Scroll to the top of any page in the forums. At the top right of the page you will see three little icons: your avatar which is the letter P, a letter envelope, and a bell. Click on your avatar icon. You will now get a little window that drops down and provides several text links. One of them reads Signature. Click on Signature and it should open a text editor.

You can also use that drop down window to edit Account Details and other things.

Hope this helps.

Site has been painfully slow, especially today. Pages don't load. Spinning wheels, etc. Not an issue on my end.

I think this site should take a laxative every morning. Can Xenforo do that?

Can you check starting from now if there will be a change in page load speed?
I have started optimizing the server and the forum.

--- UPDATE ---
I have optimized the Xenforo database.
The server has been optimized as well.
It should provide noticeable improvement in the page load speed :)

I believe that did the trick. :)

Pages are loading extremely fast now.

Hello, I am not sure if it is only me, but since recently, I cannot "Edit" posts that I've made previously. (I edit posts on my log to keep it neater)
These functions have disappeared for posts.
For posts that I make some seconds ago, I do see the "Edit" & "Delete" functions, but again, not for the previous posts made more than - I think - 1 day ago.
Could you please have a look at this? Thanks in advance!

Posts can be edited up to 1 hour after making them. This was a recent measure taken due to a member abusing policy. We're still working things out to find a right balance.

Do you feel 24 hours is sufficient for editing time?

I see, thank you for letting me know of the situation.
I do not know how often these cases occur - members maliciously taking advantage of such features.
But with them being the outliers, I feel like there could be a system or a way targeted to handle those troublesome few members.
I think it is unfortunate that I, along with maybe others, have to adjust newly due to the behaviors of a few.
If it would be possible for the administrative team to devise a protocol that allows for faster / easier handling of these situations, that would be awesome.

But again though, I am not aware of just how frequent these kinds of situations happen, and what the admin. team goes through.
So, if it is deemed necessary to continue implementing the new measure, I am okay with it and will adapt accordingly.
And a 24-hour window definitely would give more time for the friendly users like myself to work on our posts, thank you very much,

There is a thread that cannot be accessed anymore for months. The title is 2 more killer edging/ballooning techniques!!!!(for advanced edgers and ballooners) by JamesMonroe. It was a very good thread and for some reason it is gone. I would be very grateful if the thread can be put back up to be accessible.

That was posted by JamesMonroe in the Premature Ejaculation Forum on June 29, 2011.

The problem is that the thread title starts with a digit. When the forums were moved to another software platform a little over a year ago, all thread titles which begin with a digit do not direct properly. This problem includes all old threads which begin with digits as well as new threads beginning with digits.

I'm not sure what the status of this known issue is. DevTeam might be able to use this example to further assess the situation. So thanks for posting this.

ItStartsWithOne, until we have something like a universal fix, I was able to locate the first page of this thread in the Internet Archive. This link will at least give you a glimpse of some of the thread you are remembering. Hope this helps. Give it a minute to load. The Way Back Machine is a little slow sometimes:

Thanks for the reply. I could not find an archive of the wayback machine from the. I have a feeling the overall problem might not able to be solved, especially for all the other old threads. I hope all of these threads were able to be restored, especially in full. It would be devastating when history is lost.

I was able to see the archived page you sent. What I was trying to say, no matter how long and hard I tried to search for archives of that thread, they did not exist. I tried the old pegym domain and still couldn't find it. You have a piece of the puzzle.
