Have you tried getting an erection first and then going into the pump? Are you setting the valve in the open position by releasing the black button?
Thank you for your response. I have tried with an erection, but it doesn't seem to help much. And yes, I always open the valve with the black button...but don't close it? I wonder if that's what's wrong) What does help somewhat is either holding the pump downwards at all times or especially (and ironically) pumping without water, or at least when there's less water in the pump. I've also experimented with the dial (clockwise and counterclockwise) and putting the pump on with the markings on the other side, changing the angle, but getting consistent results is difficult. It seems to ultimately come down to not enough pressure being created at the entrance of the pump, but rather in the upper level, and it hurts pretty quickly, but lowering the pressure makes the pump come off, or close to it. So if I could just have the succion come from there, I'd be in business.

You have to put the button back to the closed position once you get to the pressure level you want. It should click into position. There is a good video on the subject here. Caution, there is nudity. youtube.com/watch?v=wTqtGDPbJA4

Thanks again for your response.

In the end what seems to help most is getting the correct angle, pumping downwards (at least when pushing the water out), and making sure my glans reaches beyond the the bellows (so erect to a certain extent). It's still not perfect, but I'll keep working at it.

However, just so I know, is the water used mostly because it's generally a safer method or does it truly make a difference in gains?

You're welcome. Water is more comfortable and has the heating effect you can't get from air alone. Many also notice less edema from using water in the pump instead of air.

I see some users say the post-pump effects last for a while but mine wear off within minutes. Is this typical?
Still only my third session and going in flaccid without obtaining an erection during the session.

If you are just starting then this is to be expected. Once you begin to get more time in the pump then you should notice a longer pumped appearance after your workout.

Why are you not entering the pump erect? Are you pumping to help resolve erection hardness or enlargement?

I’ve been told to go in flaccid for the first while to get used to the sensations etc. there are no ED issues and my goal is increasing size.

I haven’t tried yet. Working my way up there. Still only second week. Maybe not brave enough yet either.
Test it out with very light pressure so you can do it with confidence and comfort.

Gents,

I have a question about sizing. Maybe I’m confused by the chart or something but I can’t figure out what size to get. My size is just shy of 7.5inch length bpel and just about 5.6inch girth. From what I can tell by the sizing chart, the bathmate 7 (which I’m assuming is the x30) is the best fit. But from what I’m seeing posted here, it seems once people are around my size, some are saying they require the x40.
So with those with experience, what size should I be getting here for best fit/experience.

You would be on the border for the Hydro7 and Hydro9 (X30 and X40). TheX30/Hydro7 can support a maximum size of 9 inches in length.

What would you recommend I get? Would there be any benefit for me to get one over the other? Also on the sizing chart it says max penis length is 7.8 for the x30 or am I not reading it properly.
To be honest I’m more concerned with my girth so wondering what would be a better fit for 5.6 in girth.
Thanks for your response!

I am 5.625” girth and using a hydromax 7. Seems fine to me although my gland will sometimes rest against the inner wall which isn’t a big deal except at higher erection levels where can be a bit uncomfortable (but no issues)

The BP rep won't be back for a few days, so I'll reply instead. The suggestions for purchasing a new pump are the measures BELOW the "room to grow" indicators. At your size, you may be able to get away with ordering an X40/Hydro9.

I went ahead with the x40. I figured if I made some gains I’d need to go up in size anyways. Hopefully it’s not too big for me now though. Will see in a couple days I guess. Thanks gents!
