Hello I have been utilizing the kegal and edging methods for a few weeks now, however after just stumbling across this forum (and man am i glad i did!) I have just started to incorporate ballooning into my routine. My first question is: would it be alright for me to balloon at the end of an edging session? And is it alright for me to edge/balloon two times a day?

I was also wondering if someone could clear up the overall technique. I have read all of the main posts on this forum and realize that the idea is to stimulate the glans and the sides of the shaft by rubbing and not masturbating. However, I tried this method earlier and I was barely able to keep an erection, am i doing something wrong? My current strategy is to use my thumb and index finger on the head of my penis and my index and middle finger of the other hand on the shaft.

Both edging and ballooning are well tolerated in isolation, however if you are also doing PE and a seperate kegel routine ,total workload quickly becomes an issue.
I can answer most questions on edging and kegels however ballooning is not my area. Kingpole is the site ballooning master but has reduced his time online due to health reasons. i presume you have read his thread ,but will find a link for the sake of other members.

Ballooning for Penis Enlargement



Ballooning mainly helps with penis enlargement indirectly, by helping supplement the gains you've made while also pushing your tissues to the max when you are at your most erect size.
That said, many men have reported on our penis forum that by consistently ballooning several times a week, they have added up to an inch to their penis length and girth.
Step-by-Step Ballooning

1: Find and rub your "magic spot", which is a sensitive area on your penis that gives you pleasure.
Where to rub when ballooning: You can rub the sides of the shaft, the top of your penis, and the top of your penis head.

Where NOT to rub when ballooning: Avoid rubbing the underside of the glans and frenulum in the beginning, as it may push you over the edge and cause you to ejaculate. Overtime, though, you'll learn to control your ejaculations and rubbing this area will often give you an even bigger erection, and a better workout. It also often gives men strataspheric "dry orgasms."

2. Continue to gently rub the "magic spot" in a circular motion, over and over. This should get you extremely erect.
3: While rubbing the magic spot, simultaneously do kegels to push more blood into the penis. This will expand your penis even more closer to its max size, giving your tissues a greater workout.
You can also do reverse kegels, also known as anal breathing, in which you gently push the anus out, as if you're going to pass gas. A clue of when you're doing reverse kegels is the lower abdomen pooches out simular to a pot belly.
4: Continue your ballooning for at least twenty minutes or more. Some men can balloon for hours, and it often takes longer to get to the point of no return because there is little stroking involve.

For me - and I'm no authority, just some guy, edging for stamina has become an exercise that incorporates many different levels and types of sensation, the ballooning technique being just one. I'll chop and change from gentle shaft-only stroking to frenulum only to tight full shaft and glans strokes (I'm uncut btw) depending on both how aroused I am or want to be, and experimentation. The main thing for me, again as a stamina exercise is that I keep up stimulation at all times, but remain in control of the intensity.

If there are specific individual benefits to ballooning over edging then I'm missing out, because I felt early on that they were the same thing.

I do regard ballooning as a form of edging, but just like rock is different to blues in music ,this form has become a distinct variant.
The reason I didn't want to make statements about it, is that it is more rule bound than other forms of edging.

It boils down to this, if I may, the good thing about porn is that it makes you horny, the bad thing is that is forces the tempo of porn on you. And since the tempo of the person intercourse or masturbation differs (and also depending on mental triggers, reflex triggers and such) form the porn most of the time it is bad.

The best way is to watch porn but not masturbate, then to shut down porn and edge/masturbate without it.

As for ballooning it may differ, because with ballooning you can't have a fast tempo because that, will most of the time, do nothing. For the ballooning the same might be said. but if you can for example find some slow porn, and not a gang bang or hard core or whatever, then you should be able to get most of the ballooning if you are disciplined enough.

Interesting re tempo. I'm aware of it when edging, but never really put a lot of thought into it. Could be an interesting discussion beyond just ballooning vs edging re the relationship between the sensations you have and tempo you use to get there?

I just did my first ballooning session and I love it. I actually rubbed the hell out if my whole penis head(all the way around with a 2 finger and thumb OK sign) and reverse kegeled the whole time. I did it for about 40 minutes. It felt like after a while my sensitivity went down and I could keep going. Like it says on this site, I didn't ejaculate at the end. It also says it trains my brain to receive the stimulation without wanting to ejaculate. Is this true? Am I desensitizing myself in the long run? If I am I really don't mind because my penis head has always been too sensitive and big. To me, this was my magic spot. Any thoughts guys? Thanx!

Have you guys tried Full stroke edging with twists at the head of the penis at the top/end of the stroke while watching porn with lots of lube? I just perform a hard REVERSE KEGEL and BALOON a bit before continuing if I get a spasm or a PONR. When I baloon i pass my index finger up the penis head and over to the back and then back to the front continuously until I am ready again which is in about 5-10 seconds and return to full strokes. I chose my penis head as the "magic/sensitive" spot for my ballooning since it has always been too sensitive. This edging/ballooning technique is really working for me cuz it simulates intense sex and gets you ready for the real thing. It's pretty much "intense edging with ballooning as a occasional safety tool".
