Hey guys,

I am in my third week on an extender and had a few thoughts and questions for experienced users. Newbies like myself can of course chime in but wanted to get some input on several things I have been thinking about.

1) Did you find that your PE program was not producing the results you wanted and that switching to an extender mad a big difference?

I personally switched over myself because after 6 months of fairly structured and well rounded routine, my EL had changed little to not at all. My flaccid stretch had increased close to .25 and my girth has actually appeared (I have not managed to get a reasonable measurement for awhile) to have increased slightly judging by the "feel" of it, but nothing of what one hopes after 6 months of several hours a day. My first PE experience 10 years ago (in my early 30s) produced around 1/2 an inch with very little in the way of good technique so am trying to find what works to get similar results.

2) How long did it take before you saw results and what kind of hours did you put in?

I started the first week at 2 to 3 hours 5 days a week but am now in my third week doing between 5 to 6. I have extended the attachment slightly even though I have recorded no EL gain. I am going to give it another 4 weeks before tackling the tape measure again. The idea of an extender seems to have the most merit to me so will be giving the time for sure with it. By next week I intend to be up to 6 to 7 hours.

3) Did you notice any girth gain?

Though my length has not changed thus far, it feels as if it has gotten slightly thicker in my third week. Now, "feels" may not be very accurate but has remained consistently thicker in feel so far.

4) Since the stretch in the extender is mainly the mid shaft of the penis rather than the base ligaments, do you continue to either hang weights or manually stretch?

I am doing mainly extender and clamping for girth, but still incorporate weights about 30 to 60 minutes, 3 times a week. I imagine still pulling the ligs is probably helpful and the extender is not really going that deep.

5) Just for fun, has your extender come off at any bad moments?

I just had mine pop off while standing in line at the post office in shorts. My hands were holding boxes and had to clamp my legs to hold the pieces from falling out and hitting the floor. Sweats next time for the post office for sure!

Well, not a lot of responses on this so far :-/

I had made another observation lately and that was my pain and irritation from the extender always occurs at the devices connection on my testicles. It starts to burn after awhile. When I lie down and have the device/penis lay up towards my stomach rather than down the leg, it doesn't happen as much obviously.

Well I have only been using my extender for barely over one week now, I would like to hear answers from more experienced users but I'll put in my little bit of info.

1. I did jelqs and stretches for almost 4 months and saw no results, tried a lil bit of hanging but found it hard to stick to a routine. Found an affordable extender on ebay and just bought it, hoping to see some results over the next few months. I am going to be starting up jelqs again, starting with only 50 and adding atleast 10 every other session. Also will continue manual stretching, and hoping to get a couple hours of hanging in a week.

2. Well after one week I put in close to 30 hours, not expecting any results yet, hoping to see little changes over next couple of weeks. I believe/hope 30 hours a week will get me some gains but I really have no idea how to maximize my gains using an extender. Am I overdoing it? underdoing it? How stretched should I be right now? When do I add rods?

3. Hoping for girth gains, will be waiting a few months though.

4. I am going to keep hanging and manually stretching, as you said squid, extender seems to stretch the shaft but hanging and stretching can isolate different parts, specifically the ligs and base.

5. Nope, I am really hoping this doesn't happen to me!


I have a few question of my own on using an extender too. Im not sure how stretched I should be in relation to my bpfsl and bpel? And when I should add rods? Can I overwork myself? Do you warmup prior to extending? Some people say they wear theirs for 5+hours straight, others say you should not do more than 1 or 2 hours straight, why the different opinions?

Good questions Fisch. I have recently upped my rod using just one of the smaller ones. So far it is fine so will stay with it. I did try and use a longer one last week but was pulling to uncomfortable on the glans. I think at the most I have had it on for 3.5 hours but most of the time after about 2 hours I take it off since it either slips or I get irritation. Sometimes you get a better fit I guess. Right now I am sitting with it on for almost an hour but is slipping a bit so will have to redo it.

Cal mentions this "head swell" approach but this hasn't really worked for me as once I get it a bit erect and on, it eventually returns back to the same flaccid size. But, I am still getting a good stretch so feel it is working pretty well. I am hoping to get up to 8 hours a day in a couple weeks. Right now I am at about 25 to 30 a week.

I have used, and am still using an X4Labs extender. I started in June '09 and being retired, used it quite aggressively, getting 4 to 7 hours a day of wearing time, 7 days a week, about 600 gm to 700 gm. In that 7 month period I gained about 1.4", not all that precise in my measurements. I supplement my PE by using an AutoXsleeve, plus the usual plethora of warming up, hand stretching exercises, warming down.
After 7 months, I switched to a 45 day maintenance, not too aggressive with extender use.
In the latest 2 months, I have returned to the more aggressive wearing of my X4, increasing the "pull or tension" from 600 gm to 1100 gm. I am now seeing an increase in flaccid length/hang, and an increase in stretched length. I suspect there is a slight increase in erect, but I try to not get carried away with measurements, or to post them either.
Because the X4 extender allows me to control the amount of "pull" ( in grams), I can control the wearing to only use moderate pulling force and avoid cellular tearing/scaring, which can cause things to work in the wrong direction. Scaring resists pulling, and does not add length. I mention this aspect for anyone reading this and having an extender that does not allow you to control the amount of pull. It is one aspect of using an extender that can make or break your success. One other aspect is building up to using different tensions. One should not go "balls to the wall" right away, but instead build up over months.

I am in my fourth week of using the extender...No sorry...no real improvement in length or in girth...but guys seriously something is happening...My dick hangs heavier, sex seems better, i last longer, my get a full rock hard erection that i have missed for the last three years...I might be imagining it but my erect state shows a bit of thickness...More veiny...More musculine...I will keep you posted and load some pictures...

Keep long and thick guys! lol!

Yeah I also read a bit about the head swell that Cal had mentioned, and like you squid, even if I get it in the noose with more blood in it, after a few minutes it seems to go down to its normal size.


I haven't had any experience with the extender slipping from too much tension, maybe I should add a second little rod.

Wow Dangler, 1.4 in 7 months sounds great, I hope I can achieve that. I am sure knowing the force is exteremely helpful, I was hoping someone had some sort of strategy of extending based off bpfsl or el, but I guess that would be fairly inconsistent person to person.

Which brands/models are you guys using?
Please post reviews in the "Product Review" section of the gym. I have not looked into exenders yet, but they may be in my future so I realy appreciate you guys sharing your experiences. Thanks.

The one I am using is something like NuLove but can't even remember. Paid $60 on Ebay for it. So far no problems with it. The design of the noose could maybe be better as there is a lot of pinching at times.

Yeah, the glans will just be what it is. I actually tried putting it on today with as much of an erection as I could and fit it through the base to just make sure there was enough blood in the glans but it still "pulled the blood out" once the noose was on. That's okay, as I usually get a good hold that I can comfortably wear for about 2 to 3 hours. This week I am up to about 6 hours a day. Been still taking weekends off but reading Dangler, I may get on to a seven day a week routine and just keep the other exercises (jelq, clamp, weights) to no more than 4 or 5.

I have noticed no measurable change in girth/length yet either in the first month, but it does feel a bit heavier.

Lately I have been using the foam pad that comes for the tubing. I actually find the slippage is coming more frequently with it and the comfort level is not much better. I am probably going to pull it off after today. Am already up to 2 hours this afternoon (did 1.5 and now 30 minutes into what I hope to be another 2) and aiming for 6.

Squid, and anyone else using the noose -
There are a couple of extenders which offer use of a "comfort strap" which may be used either in place of or (as in the X4labs model) used along with the noose. Autoextenders.com has "vacuum" designed attachments which hold the glans without using the noose. Of course, it can be a case of how much money one wants to wrap up in devices or extender packages.
2nd - I bought a package of "infant/baby" socks at Walmart. I cut off the foot section, throw that away. I take the elastic ankle section, and slip it over my dick/glans. This gives a layer of comfort/protection for the penile skin from whichever way one fastens into an extender. For me, it helps to hold back the foreskin while I do the strapping in process. Great anti-skin pinching helper. Always look at skin color periodically, takes breaks if needed.
Older war story -
My first extender was a sex shop internet special. Noose only. And it was so long, I could not fasten in. I had to remove parts (the spring chambers) to shorten it enough so I could fasten in. But I persisted and got some wearing time out of it. Later, I began studying extenders and discovered X4labs. It has many optional parts (the deluxe package) to anticipate users who are on the short side & just starting out. They also have spare parts, pricey, but they are available, and the deluxe package has extra rod sections for future growth. No I don't work for them lol.

Noose, Strap cleaning - Darn things get slippery due to skin oil from body parts. I have used a wet sponge and Sink scouring powder (Ajax, Comet, etc) to lightly scuff up & de-oil either noose, strap, or the mounting part. It simply adds a bit of friction/surface tension so that the part does not slide so easily.
I've also used "bulldog" paper clamps to hold the noose ends at times. Doing this may negate the ability of wearing your extender in public as it cause funny lumps to appear in ones pants.

Unrelated extender wearer tip -
Never try to pass through an airport metal detector whilst wearing your extender. It can create quite an awkward situation. Or so I hear....

Yeah squid I don't even bother with the comfort strap. Dangler I think I will try out the sock idea. I know that warmng up before manual exercise is extremely beneficial, but what about before slipping on an extender? It doesn't seem as necessary since you keep it on for a couple hours anyways.

Hello mates.
So i bought my extender(that is a jes extender-from size genetics site) 10 months ago.But at first i had some serious problems wearing that.And thats why i quitted back then
Occationally i tried it again and again but never did a well done schedule.
Now that i am in my 4th week in JP's beginner's programm i started experimenting with the extender so when i will be done with JP's,i will be ready to use it with caution to maximize results.
So about the wearing time,from the posts that i have read on internet i must say that about 5 hours per day its likely the most common time period.
About the "head swell" effect,i came across with the same problem.Just cant produced a swell when wearing the extender.The only thing that i manage to do is; make cold my glance.The "cold head" thing.
Anyone that have overcame this problem,i would appreciate his feedback.
I feel the force,which tends to expand my unit,but the blood cant pass through the grasp and go to my glance.
Also i would like to know if anyone saw results while he was extending having the "cold head" effect.
And i think before any PE excersise you should ALWAYS warm up.
Last thing, yes it had slipped off my penis but not in a crowded place,neither in a room that i can be embarrassed.I just wear in on my home.

I mix warming up temperature wise with manual exercise to get Mr Happy really flexible and then I mount into extender. I find that this combination results in minimal slipping out of the extender. I've found that while wearing extender that using a hot rice sock to keep shaft & glans warm helps increase circulation, and seems to make wearing the extender easier.

What may help you with getting your glans enlarged to help in the fastening process, is to use a penis pump. Now a word of caution.
Use a pump with a gauge, 3" - 5" Hg of vacuum. Build up wearing times. Both for the pump times and for extender wearing times.
Don't mount into your extender erect. You want to work at applying a stretch force to a flaccid penis, not an erect one.

Frequently, I warm up with hot rice sock, manually loosen up, do a short pump session, and then mount into the extender.
I wear my extender with a known amount pull, 600 to 1100 grams. Not familiar with your JES, so you'll have to address the issue of how much pull you are using. You want to stretch the cells, not tear them. Tearing results in scar cells, which do not stretch, and don't add as usable length in the long term.

I have a Jez Extender by Size-Genetics also, purchased in Nov 2009. My routine has been warmup, newbie stretch routine from JonPop's newbie routine. Wear the extender for about 1.5-2 hrs, another warmup, JP's Jelq routine and then edging. Followed by a nice long HOT shower for a warm down. I too have had the cold Glans problem and that is what limits me to 1.5-2 hrs of wearing it. Since starting this I have averaged .25 inch per month in length and not much i girth. My goal was length first anyway.
