I pumped for about three months after I finished my 90 days beginner routine.

I had gained some length with my beginner routine but no girth

I pumped 3 days a week at low pressure (3 to 3.5 HG), 2 or 3 ten minute sets with a 5 minute break in between. I also did jelqing. At the end of that period I had gained some girth -- I don't remember exactly how much, but it was certainly more than a 1/4.

I had to stop pumping for privacy reasons. I still kept the girth I gained.

Pumping is an excellent exercise and like Jon Pop says it is very pleasant. Not in a sexual way necessarily -- I find it very relaxing, like say getting a good massage or meditating. It seems like it causes the brain to release "feel good" chemicals.

Anyway I have recently started pumping again and for me at least it is a great PE exercise.

I first got into PE by pumping. I bought quite a few cheap pumps and the gains were zero. A pump won't give you any length gains, but can give you very good girth gains. When I started pumping in 1995 my EG was 4.0" after pumping 6 nights a week for 6 yrs my girth gains were 1 full inch. That has been a permanent gain. If you want to pump you can get a good Kaplan pump for about $150. That is what I gave for mine in 1999 and I still have it and use it occasionally now with my extender routine. I use it for my girth and only my girth. For I know there will be no length gains to be had from using it.

I was curious about the whole pump thing, I found that it didn't do a damn thing. Granted I'm new to PE, there is always a chance maybe I'm not using it right. Also I had to cut the damn opening bigger so I would fit into the damn thing, otherwise it hurt...

I really don't see why not... I mean, you can get gains from just jelqing, so why not just pumping? They're both methods of putting stress on the penis. I'm going to test this out after I get myself a pump, see if I make any gains from solely pumping.

Ideally, you never just want to pump. Any exercises, whether youre using a device as your primary objective should always be coupled with jelqing. Jelqing is the foundation of PE and everything else should be the icing on the cake in my opinion.

The majority of my gains have come from pumping and jelqing. Low pressure around 3-5 hg is ideal. If youre going to be in the cylinder for longer than 10-15 minutes at a time, the lower the better. Ive done 30 minutes straight at 3hg, jelqed, and back in for another 30 minutes straight at 3hg and never had any lymph build up. Condom pumping is also a great way to reduce lymph build up.

Ahhhh, so jelqing and pumping go hand and hand then. Just getting sucked into this bathmates charm, I assume when you buy it they also give you a workout plan or something

Doesn't sound like it, considering they really rag on any penis enlargement techniques that aren't the product they're selling. Sparky over on Thunders was talking about water pumping vs. vacuum pumping and was mentioning that he felt more of an internal feeling from water pumping, so water pumping may have slightly different effects on gains versus vacuum pumping.

Have you read these threads over at Thunders, impactspoon?

http://www.thundersplace.org/forum/showthread.php?t=82793

Also, what was your routine? How long did you pump for? What technique did you do (high pressure pumping, low pressure, etc.)?

It looks like registration is closed off and I am not registered as a user there. What was the jist of the threads? I have pretty severe ED and use a Pos-T-Vac pump as a treatment method. I am very interested in pumping in general and their use in PE. My progress log gives my current pumping exercise/schedule as outlined in a handout my doctor gave me.

It's a general how-to guide for pumping, selecting your cylinder size, etc. I think following your doctor's schedule would probably be best though.

Oh ok. Sounds like just the basic stuff that I have probably already gone through when I first started researching different ED treatments and the use of pumps as a treatment device.
