Take some time to study some of the existing progress logs created by other members. This will give you ideas on how to best format the recording of your progress and organize your own methodology in your ongoing experiments.
How and Where to Post Pics
Images of your progress which include personal nudity should not be posted directly into your progress log. Please only post such images in your Profile Posts. You can post links in your progress log to the images you post to your profile. The following tutorial will show you how to do all of this...
Where are your Profile Posts? Simply double-click on your username or avatar anywhere you find it in the site. It will take you to your profile. Only forum members can see your profile.
How to post images
The best method for posting images into your Profile Posts is to use the Insert Image icon
at the top of the Profile Post editor...
Click on the Insert Image icon and you will get a little window to drag and drop an image or click to navigate to the image on your computer:
This will insert the image into the body of your post so you can write text around it, just like I'm doing now.
(Please do not use the Attach Files button at the bottom of the Profile Post editor to attach images.)
How to post links to your Profile Posts
You can post links in your progress log to the images you post as Profile Posts.
To find the link to a specific Profile Post, first find the date at the top of the profile post. In this example I just posted an image of my avatar to my profile a moment ago and so the date is showing as "A Moment ago":
Right click on the date for options, or just left-click it which will bring the Profile Post into focus and the specific link will show in your browser's address bar.
Copy and paste the link into your Progress Log like this:
Or if you want to get really fancy, use the Insert Link icon
in the post editor...
...to hyperlink text to the URL like this:
Here's the hypertext link to the example profile post I made for this tutorial. I didn't post any nudity, but you can click this text to look at my avatar and see how this works.
Obviously if you are using a mobile device the procedure will be a little different, but all the same controls should be available to you.
