Hi everyone
I would first like to thank everyone for the help they have offered on this site. It is not often I can say I am fully sattisfied with the support offered :)
I wanted to talk about the topic of penis extenders. I aim to bring one into my PE routine and just wanted to know the basics about them really.
Is there a certain brand that people could reccomend?? I have heard that size genetics is one of the best but obviosuly wanted comfirmation from the people on this site.
Also could the use of an extender cause damage to the penis itself? Has anyone had any side effects or is it possible that there will be bad effects in the future??
And are the gains permanent?
Thanks for the help!

Could an extender cause damage? Yes, usually the human using (or more accurately, mis-using ), it is the reason. Ditto for the side effects/ bad effects in the future.
They will all work, how comfortably is the factor to investigate.
Gains are permanent once long term wearing is practiced. Long term 6 months to a year.
It is all about getting in the wear-hours.

Extending is one of the most permanent methods in PE that doesn't need a maintence/cementing routine.
But that's if you can wear it 4-6 hours a day at proper tension.
I don't see anything special about sizegenetics as it looks and works just like a $30(but built better but doesn't mean it will break, my $30 one didn't, though I bought an x4 for the quad support)

Extenders seem pretty safe and they're also progressive: you're not suddenly going to apply too much tension and rip your cock off. They work too (the British Journal of Urology published details of a pilot study that seemed to confirm this. It was only a pilot, but no major problems were reported other than one case of minor and harmless bruising). When I've completed the program, I'll almost certainly be an inch longer (and I'll be happy with that).

I use an Andropenis (which was used in the study) and although my gains have been quite small so far (I'm only a month in), I'm very happy with it. Best feature is that you can wear it under clothing while you work (if you sit at a desk) and it's pretty comfortable. I haven't done any research into any other models so I can't recommend it to you over the one that you mention. It's quite possible that I'm not using the best model available (I chose it because there was peer reviewed research done on it).

Make sure you get that's well designed, well made and easy to put on. I find that the main problem with the andropenis is that you have to compress the springs with one hand and then thread your cock through the strap, keep the foreskin retracted (if you've got one) and tighten it up with one hand. This is tricky and you'll be doing it once every couple of hours when you take breaks. If I had to choose now, I'd probably look for one that made this step easier.

Biggest fear with an extender is nerve damage through poor circulation to the glans (poor circulation over an extended period of time isn't so great). If you wear it too tight and cut off the blood supply, this *might* happen but (if you're white) you'd know this was happening because your glans would become numb and dark blue. In this case, you'd just take it off and allow the blood to start flowing again and if you loosened the strap in future, you wouldn't expect any permanent damage (I'd imagine).

If the strap has a large surface area or you use lots of padding (and so exert a small pressure on the glans and the associated blood supply) it should be possible to minimize the risk of this happening. My glans gets cold when I use it but I can't detect any change in sensitivity or any other odd effects (tingling or pain) since I've started using it. I'm not particularly concerned about nerve damage (having used it for a month without ill consequence) it but some people are; maybe talk to them.

Anyway, a month in and my erections have become longer (by about 1 cm) and much harder. I hang lower and thicker when soft and my glans is bigger too (which is an added bonus). Again, all of these things were mentioned in the studies. I'd feel happy to recommend an extender to anyone. Just don't expect the gains to come fast.

I got one for 22 bucks off ebay. Seems to be working fine. I personally don't like the idea of spending 450 on something that can basically be replicated at fractions of the price. Will it be as good in the long run? maybe not.

For us beginners to PE I see no reason we need one that's industiral strength.

If anything grab up a cheap one and see if you can stand wearing them. If your liking what you see then drop some more bones on one that's more expensive.

PS

Its mechanical. The cheaper ones do the same damned thing. Though, once your a few months into it you may want to look into something more powerful.

(it seems 900g is the max tension I can get it to atm. If i tighten the strap I could maybe get more but I like having a penis head that's not amputated.)

I'm on my 2nd week of extending and already I have seen increases in Erection Quality, Libido (Horny more often), Flaccid length and Girth (Fast I know!), and I can edge for longer periods.

I went with the X4 Labs Deluxe Gold because I've seen alot of success stories with it, but really any extender will work just fine. Only difference being tension, but I rarely go over 1,000 grams so I don't see any need to get one with 2k+ that's just too painful to wear. Also go with one that has multiple straps, you may or may not like the noose design or the comfort strap type designs over the vacuum/head types.

Also if you have a big girth, go with a extender that has a large open base. I'm glad I got the deluxe model with the wide girth because when I first tried it on with the normal girth base, I got hard while wearing it and it was extremely painful at the base, could barely pull it out. Word to the wise...

Is there a list of recommended extenders on this site? If so, roof anyone mind linking me?

Wow, cheers for the essay haha. It was very helpful actually. But just wandering, I already have quite poor circulation around my body. I.e my glans is always a purple colour and my hands turn purple in the cold winters in England :/ Do you think this would effect the mass I could apply? If you said it cuts off the circulation then its most likely to cut it off easier on my penis? Also, when you stretch to you retract the foreskin or not? I have heard some people say that you should and some people say you shouldnt

I'd say that it's best to retract the foreskin. I'm not a doctor, but it might not be such a great idea to use it if you're suffering from poor circulation; cutting off the blood supply for any great length of time can damage tissue (and bear in mind that you're going to be wearing it a lot so the damage might be cumulative) and if you've already good impaired circulation, this might be a risk for you.

I think the main reason that it causes low blood flow to the glans is because it needs to be strapped down tightly to stop it slipping (especially true when you start using high tension). I don't think it has so much to do with the tension used, but I might be wrong.

If I'm right though, you might be able to solve this problem by wrapping properly (both of the penis and the noose) and so you wouldn't need to strap down as tightly. I'm currently getting the stage where I'm going to have to do this in order to avoid slippage.

Hmmm... worth a thought.
