Yeah I can do that but, I dont wanna display the pix on an open forum so I would either need to have the thread ONLY visible to members of the forum or I can tell them they have to go to my profile to see it. What do you think?

Trying to "Backup"? whats that mean? He did get me a card but to me a card isnt "something" a piece of chocolate or a flower is something. I think he is just really bad a choosing gifts for girls so he try's the opt. out way. Not the best way to win her over.

I know, I was being a smart ass. a piece of chocolate...yes I meant just a hunk. A flower IS a flower. I was referring to them as singular rather than plural chocolateS & roseS. Meaning that I would have been happy to have even just ONE flower or ONE piece of chocolate. Hell even a BOUQUET of had picked wild flowers lol.

I guess that was the real issue with him, Valentines day is an easy holiday to be cheap or even free as long as the thought is there. Its easy to do a "Its the thought that counts" gift like the one I made for him. So the issue was the LACK of effort/thought.
He could have lite a few candles around the hot tub and through a few rose petals around AND picked a better card, the card he picked seemed like he walked up the card isle with a hand out and just grabbed the one that happened to be sticking out.
I thought he was going to do something nice for V-Day cause he already had a point docked off for blowing off our year anniversary celebration! It was in Jan & suppose to be a 2 night stay on the beach trip but he totally blew it off and I DIDNT forget! He must think I did. Its not that I have a huge problem with the fact that I dont get good gifts and I dont get recognized on special occasions, its more so that I feel like if we are this lame after only a year then I can only imagine how shitty it will be after 5, 10 ,20 years...?
