havent posted in a while, so figured Id better post an update so I can keep tabs on this thing.

Took 3 days off recently, due to busy work schedule etc, but yesterdays session was just horrible

I reached PONR at only 3 mins. Held hard kegel and managed DO. waited about 15 seconds for things to relax. Watched as penis went slowly flacid and started again. I barely got to 4 mins when the PONR crept up fast and I ejaculated.

Same thing has happened to me in past. It seems whenever I take a break of 3 days or more, I just cant seem to last long when edging.

Here's hoping todays session will be more productive.

I suggest you only stroke your shaft and only stroke your penis head or your most sensitive spots once in a while. Get it? Then go progressive.

you should just try to do what I call "time trials" (maybe you guys call it something else but whatever hehe ), when the aim is to just last for a pre-determined time. No edging or whatever, you know if you feel yourself coming close, just slow down a bit, or completely stop stimulation until arousal goes down. The only goal being reaching that predetermined time limit. This is only to get yourself used to lasting longer.

For your example, when you were about to ejaculate after 4 mins, you'd simply recognize that feeling and you could have stopped until the feeling went away, then start back, if it came back after only 15 seconds then you stop again! Do that until you reach your time limit.

It's helped me quite a bit.

^ I agree. Setting the alarm on your phone is a great way to keep track of time. I set the alarm to go off after 25 minutes. Dont do this regularly though... Pavlov's dog. After a few months of programming your bodh youll be gettin it in with her, a phone will ring and it will be game over!

Getting used to the "start and stop" technique that women hate during sex is not a good idea. I suggest switching to very light ballooning at PONR insted of stopping to get the body and mind used to continued stimulation.
That's what I came up with and is working for many guys, including me. You can do that or just stay stroking the shaft only and not the head for a bit till arousal drops.

Oh yeah definitely, don't get into the "stop and go" method. ONLY stop if it's the only way, if you can continue stimulation, then definitely do that. In time you'll never need to stop. But in the beginning, if you need to stop or very lightly stimulate, then do that, so you can reach your time limit.

I'm thinking what I have in mind is what you guys call ballooning though...I'll need to find a description for that...

Those ideas are all usefull guys, and I tried them all early on.

My point was infact that I feel I had made some good progress over the past 6 months, but yet when I take a few days off it's like I'm right back where I started.

I know that after a few sessions I'll be back to 20 mins again, but just getting frustrated when I take those few days break.

I'll keep at it - thanks

well are you able to go for another round after that quicker release after holding back for a few days? it's pretty normal to cum a little easier when taking a break, especially if you train every day. Maybe a "weening out" process is in order to get used to longer inactive periods between sexual release and STILL be able to have control?

For example, release every other day, then when you're comfortable with that, take 2 days off from jerking off before the next session and try to get used to it. Can't really confirm this type of training, but seems to go along the same thinking of conditioning as the "time trial" method.

I wasnt able to go another round after actually ejaculating. Probably if I waited a while I could, but I was pretty dissappointed in myself that day so I just gave up.
Nevertheless, here I am two days later and my session is back up to 20 mins.

My session today went for approx 17 mins before DO (well that's when I looked at the clock) and I waited about 30 seconds then continued, reached PONR again in less than 1 min and had DO again. Continued to about 20 mins where I DO'd again. This time I felt my hold was weaker and a little bit of cum did come out, but only a few dribbly drops.

I agree with you KingJR, I weening process is probably what I need to be able to handle longer inactive periods.
It seems currently I can comfortably go two days without and still see my sessions at approx 20 mins. I'll try increase this again by taking off Sat - Sun - Mon and see how I go.

I'm back up to 20 mins again tho - so I'm happy about that.

todays session went well,

DO at 5 mins, then again at 15 mins. The one at the 15 min mark felt pretty intense and I struggled to hold it back with hard kegel. A few dribbles, but manged to stop full ejaculation.

At this point I went flacid, just as I would after normal ejaculation. I tried to stimulate and get erection again almost imediately, but only managed to gain about 60 percent erection. Continued for further 5 mins but couldnt get solid erection so I stopped.

Question - any tips on how to get penis back to 100% erection after ejaculation or DO? I'm guessing it's just Practice, Practice, Practice, although after reading recently about the 5 G's I wonder if that might help shorten refractory period?

All advice welcomed

So, steveshorny1, no more problems with ejaculating with a flow? You are currently not using Reverse Kegels anymore when masturbating?

What would other guys say about using kegel and reverse kegel during masturb/sex: when and how should those techniques be used?

Moreover, will steveshorny1 always be a kegel slave?

I still find myself holding a light reverse kegel when masturbating, and of course I still use the regular ones to hold off PONR and when im at PONR to achieve DO.

No problems ejaculating with a flow? If I hold a hard reverse kegel at PONR I will still have that flowing type ejaculation. I cant hold off PONR with just a RK, - not at all.

Will I always be a kegel slave? good question MarcusHa. I just wanna cure this thing, and it seems everyones approach to curing it is simmilar, but some things work for some guys and some things dont. I'll try anything and everything to stop this PE problem.

I will cure it

todays update,

Edged after 3 days break. Reached PONR at about 5 mins, held hard kegel and achieved mild DO. Continued edging for almost another minute. achieved another DO. Continued to approx 8 mins and had big DO, whole body orgasm. Felt great, but couldnt hold the kegel hard enough, and some dribbled out.
After this point i felt penis go semi flacid. I rubbed to make it feel as good as possible and get hard again.
Got about 80 - 90% erect and managed to go hard with all kinds of grips.
At 20 mins i decided I wanted to ejaculate, so I allowed myself.

For me it feels like once I've reached that hard DO I feel like I can go for a long time again. OK I'm not as erect as I'd like, but it's hard enough and I'm sure if I was having "real sex" it'd get harder.

Well, lets see what happens tomorrow

yesterdays session was great.

Managed to edge for those first 5 mins with medium to light grip, then increased grip and intensity. Managed to go a full 20 mins without even getting close to PONR.

why was this session so different? I have no idea, but i'm hoping todays session will go just as well.

Just updating my post.

After what seemed like a great week of edging and achieving roughly 20 mins each time, keeping arousal levels well under control, using various grips etc, and feeling pretty darn good about my progress it seems that the following week was very dissapponting.

For about a week now, I seem to keep hitting that 1st PONR very quickly (less than 2 mins) On some occasions, I even ejaculate at around 5mins. That PONR just creeps up in a matter of seconds and next thing i know I'm ejaculating.

I don't know why the past week has been such a step backwards. Nothing much has really changed, and no I'm not experiencing any more stress than usual in my life. It just seems like some kinda relapse or something. Frustrating would be a severe understatement.

I've been working on edging and reverse kegels routinely since begining of January, and now 7 months later, I seem to to be losing ground.

I will see how todays session goes.

Todays session was worst I've had in a long time.

Hit the PONR in less than 1min. Held hard kegel and kept it at bay. Waited about 20 seconds and continued, hit PONR again almost instantly. Waited till the usual feelings subsided and then i just put fingers on the glands. no rubbing, no stimulation, I just put thumb and forefingers on the glands and in like about 2 seconds i ejaculated.

Something just isnt right. i manage a whole week of great success, and now this. I know u guys will probably say dont stress and just ride it and all that kinda stuff, but I gotta tell you It's really really annoying. Why am I losing ground so rapidly?

Not really asking for advice - just venting my frustrations.

OK, so I've had a bad week of edging and had no idea why.

Today however, I really took my time. I managed to get back up to 20 mins, and by the end of my session I was confident I probably could have even gone longer.

So why was today so different? - I eased into this session slower than usual. I think this is a lesson learned (or perhaps a forgotten lesson remembered) - Starting slower and easing into the session does seem to help and I now think that is possibly where I went wrong over the past week of dissappointing edging sessions.

Well, I'll keep at it - see how tomorrow goes

Havent updated in a while, but thought it was about time I posted my experiences/frustrations etc.

After 9 solid months of determination and persistence, I feel like I have only progressed a little. I have learnt alot about my body, my arousal, my control, sensitivity and my penis in general. However, I have not cured my problem and until I can have regular sex to put all my learning into "real" practice I am not so sure I'll be able to ever truly be in control.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who posts their advice etc, as it is inspirational.

I will still keep posting occasionally on my log, and my progress and I will still keep persisting to cure this PE curse.
