Should I be measuring from the side or the top of the penis for accurate results? Do you measure the bend?

The top is standard. I measure my bend with a tape measure--that's what Big Al does. I have a large head, so I like to use the tape measure to get the most out of my measurement. Why not? Some measure with a ruler. Which ever one you choose, do it the same way each time. Consistency is paramount here.
i think it is easier to use a hard ruler and measure the same each time by standing up keeping my penis perpendicuar to my body then use the ruler and push it back to the pubic/pelvic bone and measure it like that. A hard ruler means no bending and can push it right the way back to the bone. I do it this way and get a BPEL ( bone pressed erect length ) but whichever way you do it just keep it the same way so there are no variations. Like if you stand one time make sure you stand all the time etc. Good Luck!
