Hello!! I have a few questions and looking for any pointers from some experienced members if you have any!!! I am following JP90s routine as a baseline and just officially started Monday. Trying to condition my hang down to get used to the stretches. I've seen a lot posted about not using any extenders, etc. for the first 90 days and condition my penis with just the manual stretches for 3 months and that many people see the majority of their gains from manual workouts anyway. My initial goal is to hit 6"...eventually 6.5" would be awesome!!! but I dont want to get ahead of myself. I do need to measure my girth, but when I did so years ago it was around 4.75-5".
I'm mostly looking for length gains and to have a larger flaccid.

I am also taking the 1000mg L-arginine and super B complex everyday that JP90s routine recommends.

Questions:

1. Should I just do JP90 for the first 90 days before I incorporate an extender? Or would I be safe to use an extender for 1-2 hours/day starting out right now? I bought an expensive extender back in 2016 when I was gonna start PE, but where that went I have no idea. Many of the sites selling "better" extenders no longer seem to be around. Ive heard the phallosan forte extender is great, but I've heard the cheap ones off aliexpress or ebay work well for many people too.

2. My BPEL is slightly under 5.5" when measuring from the top of my penis and a bit over 5.5" when measuring from the side of it. Which measurement is correct? I'd assume from the top but I wasn't sure.

3. Should you masturbate after workouts? Is it bad/good for gains or does it not matter?

Please if anyone has any pointers/gaining success stories I'd love to hear them!

Thanks!

JP 90 is outdated IMO. I would follow it but replace the jelqing with side to side stretches or the modified jelq (basically just squeezing your base instead of running your hands up your shaft).

The medical studies showing the efficacy of extenders do not have the patients do a "conditioning" period. Just start with low tension and increase time before increasing tension

The correct way to measure is from the public base pressed to the bone to the tip along the top.

Masterbating or lack of it has never impacted my gains

Hey Nopain!

Welcome to TBH.

It would be a good idea to check out the beginners forum. Lots of good information on what the Gym is all about, including best practices and safety tips.

It is always recommended to start with a beginners routine and continuor until you stop gaining. Start slowly and build up to the full routine over a few weeks.

Jelq with an erection level between 40 and 70%. Do not grip too tight, just enough to feel blood moving up the shaft. When stretching, grab your shaft about one inch below the glans and do not pull too hard, just enough to to feel a slight stretch. Let your PIs be your guide as to how hard to pursue your lroutine.

Dont forget to take good starting measurements and photos so you have a solid base to compare your gains to.

Ive actually found quite a few people online who also mention the modified jelq as being more effective than the traditional. Some even said the standard jelq is "dangerous", lol. How true that is, I don't know, since it seems from what I've read that the standard jelq is a PE staple. Plus it has produced gains for a lot of people. But I guess anything can be dangerous if done too rigorously.

Either way, If I replace the standard jelq with the modified jelq, would I do so with a completely erect penis? (OK grip at base, tighten/squeeze grip to trap blood inside the penis and slide your OK grip up the shaft.)
I managed to find a video of someone demonstrating a modified jelq and he did so while fully erect, not sure if that is how you do them as well?? Since the JP90 mentions traditional jelq while not fully erect, I wasn't sure.

Thank you for your help!

Thank you for the welcome!!! I will definitely do a deep dive into the beginners forum.

Welcome! Being that I made the mistake of going HAM before conditioning my joint, I’d say do the complete 90 days of conditioning first.

I feel like weight hanging and stretching before conditioning, prevented me from gaining for almost a full year.
